ok so here is my predicament

When DS was 6 weeks old DH and I eloped and it was always the plan that we would get RE-married at a later date when we could afford it...
So we talked about it and decided that it would be on our 2 Year Wedding anniversary which is on the 30th August 2007...
Now when i was planning the wedding dress (getting made) it is a design that accommodates a pregnant belly as i was hoping that i would be 6-7 months pregnant by that stage... However things changed and now im pregnant and depending on who you ask depends on the date that im due either the 30th August or the 2nd September...
So i still would love to get married as planned on the 30th... DH thinks that im crazy even thinking about it...

its not a fancy wedding just a little ceremony and reception at my dads place where we are going to make the back yard all pretty and hire some tables and chairs and have a BBQ kinda thing so its not costing thousands and IF we did have to cancel everything the only thing that would cost us again would be the invitations and the cake...

ok so my question is Would you still go ahead with all the original plans or would you make it for the year after?
i really want to get married on our original wedding date

ok im finished now:ecomcity::ecomcity:

i'd say do it. if you put a little note in with the invites people should be ok with the last minute change of plans too - if your baby decides to come early. - hell they might prefer it to be later so they can actually meet the baby.

just be prepared to get a heap of phone calls the week before the wedding asking if you have had the baby yet.

i say go for it! the date is special to you and you want to keep it as your anniversary :)
if bub comes early then change the plans but i think its a really nice idea to have the same date.

ps - make sure you post pics of your dress, i got married at 7 months pregnant, mine wasn't a "wedding dress" (I didn't want one even before I knew i was preg) but it was gorgeous and i felt so great! PIC (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/library-laksa/WEDDING/01MichaelaatBurswood.jpg)

I'm sorry but I chose the 'no you are crazy' option. The baby might come early or on the day and you might feel all uncomfortable and tired and moody. I know I couldn't have done a lot when I was heavily pregnant. Maybe you could still keep the date and do it in 2008.

I hope it goes well for you for whatever you decide to do!:)

I say don't do it! If the date is really important to you do it next year and have both your kids with you. Make it even more special.

I'm due next week and there is no way i feel like preparing for a party, let alone wedding. No matter how small you think it might be, it all needs organizing and preparing.

I'd do it! I'd do it for the hoot of faking contractions HAHAHA

No really, I'd do it and I'd have a heap of fun!!!

I put it depends ( yeah I'm a fence sitter leave me alone )
Maily because I know I could not do it, I would be a big giant ball of stress!!!
However if you are a relaxed person you may well be able to pull it off well despite all possible obstacles that may arise!
If you have the baby early will you have another dress picked out, as your pregnancy wedding gown would be too big wouldn't it?? See listen to me I'm stressing and it's not even my own wedding!!

i voted depends....not the under wear kind either;)
personally i like to be able to drink at a celebration... but if your keen on it do it... whats the worse thing that can happen... your waters break in the middle of it all.... that would be great:D

hahaha didn't even think of that it would be pretty funny......

well i havnt made up my mind yet.... But if i do then i will be writing a list for each of my bridesmaids and they have to do everything before the wedding and they are both excited about that,

i will decide after my U\S on the 18th (incase there is twins)
