Hi all,
Has anyone found that certain foods give their bubs wind ? What are they?
I have been told that grapes can cause wind and stomach pain in babies but are there other types of food?

Do you mean via breastmilk or for older bubbas directly feeding??
I didn't notice anything in particular with my dd whilst bfing, although everything seemed to make her windy when she was tiny.

Sorry I should have specified solid foods for bubs.
Tayla has had the wind issue from breastfeeding which was a whole other can of worms.......... ;)
Don't feed her canned worms, they're terrible for wind. :D

Yep, I've heard grapes can cause wind and stomach pains, and if DD1 eats too many she pukes! I know peas cause wind too, if too many are eaten. I don't really know of any others though....
I agree with the canned worms too, they're one of the wost offenders!! LOL

Let me see..... my baby had terrible wind problems. These are the foods that affected her:
garlic
spicey food
milk and milk products
sausages
cabbage
cauliflower and brocoli
just to name a few! :o
It did get better after a few months - and by about 4 1/2 - 5 months I could eat anything.
