Yep, i have bought a few suits too. Bought a couple when i found out i was pregnant, and bought a couple last week, oh and a cute little fluffy lamb. We buy a special soft toy for each of our kids for when they are born, and i couldn't resit this little one!:o
Luckily we have most stuff so we don't have to buy a lot.

!!
I'm a first time mum and was going to wait till 20 weeks to buy everything. But a friend of mine said that it was much easier to buy things as you go along...
There's just too much choice! ie. which car seat? what stroller? which brand of cloth nappies.etc..??
I guess the most important purchase is the car seat as I can't walk home from the hospital!
I started buying the month we started TTC - that way i wasnt rushed and had to run out and get everything withing 6-9 months.
I figured if something went wrong i was going to need it eventually anyway.
So now we have almost everything - still need more clothes and singlets, and also once of the baby rocker chairs but thats about it.
Now i have more money to save towards maternity leave

I actually wish i hadn't bought everything as I went along. If you got to a baby shop and buy it all in one go they generally do great deals, so i kinda wish i'd done that...

Only thing I want to get is a portable high chair. Other then that we have everything.

Yeah well we already have alot of stuff too from our last baby so I don't need to get too much......
However, I have already boughts heaps of clothes off ebay (pink ones too, I know I am probably jinxing myself in to having another boy)
I will probably laybuy some stuff at target in the next couple of months maybe after my 18week scan. I need another car seat (it has to match Xavier's according to DH so thats an easy decision) and new linen which I wont get till I find out the sex, a new change mat for the change table and a new high chair.
Also I will be getting a new pram, as I want a double one that I can put both the kiddies in, will have to shop around to find one I like.
So have done some of my shopping, but still have more to do when I find out the sex of bubs.

Hi,
I'm a newbie to the forum and this is my first post...thought i'd contribute to this one as we bought our first baby thing yesterday...a baby car seat which was half price from toys r us. I also popped into target this afternoon at lunch and found some baby clothes that were half price ($3.50) so i bought 4 (all white as we don't know whether boy or girl yet).
Next on our list is a pram and cot.....prams are not cheap as we've recently found out! We're looking at the Beema Q.
So exciting!!!

I too have most things I need for when baby #4 comes along. I'm also looking at getting a portable highchair - one of the fisher price ones with the little tray on it that you put on a chair.
I'll only need to buy a few things if it's a boy - so out with all the baby girls stuff (eBay here I come!) so I can afford a brand new wardrobe for a baby boy! Also, I'd probably like to buy a couple of boy coloured cot sheet sets.
I'm hoping my girlfriend might throw me a baby shower (esp if I have a boy) and I was thinking that people could all put in $10 or so to help me buy a swinging chair so the baby can be in the same room as the girls without being accidentally trodden on! I bought one off eBay when pregnant with Immy, as well as a bouncer, and I got burned and never received either of them ($200 down the drain :crying: ) so that's pretty much the only big ticket item I'd love to get.

Before I had dd (my first) my dh and I had bought a pram, highchair and all this other stuff for our unborn baby.. So I am a bit of a shopaholic.
With this bub I have got new washers and bath stuff as it is expensive. I also have got a few bibs, I am waiting to find out what sex as I even though I have a boy and girl each baby is new and although I will reuse my others clothes each child deserves new clothes as well so want to get all that after 20wks.
I also cannot wait to buy the coming out of hospital outfit!!

Haven't bought anything yet, we are waiting until we know what it is, if it's a boy we don't really need any clothes or stuff like that, only big things like highchair, carseat and maybe cot, haven't decided weather to put Zac in a bed when he turns 2 or not.
If it's a girl on the other hand i think we will go a bit crazy! There are to many males in this house so if its a girl i get to redecorate:smiliedance:
Leaving hospital outfit - Weather its a boy or girl we have an outfit that my grandmother made and bub will be wearing that, sort of a tradition thing.

Im so happy, whilst I havent got anything yet for baby (apart from some bunny rugs) I will start getting things in exactly 6 weeks. That way DF will be home and in 6 weeks we find out the sex. AND in 6 weeks I get to leave work FOR GOOD!! :smiliedance: then we will be looking for a place to buy, and when we do I can get serious about the nursery. I cant wait.. So excited!!!
on monday we are going to look for a twin pram and another bassient and hopefully if we find out what sex they are matching clothes in their sex colour

I bought the Fisher Price Miracles and Milestones swing. I couldnt resist it on sale.
I also went looking for a new pram (despite the fact I have 4!!!) because although DS will be 2.5 I still cant let him walk on long trips coz he runs away or gets tired. So I looked at twin prams and joggers with toddler seats.
I find out the sex in 1 week from tomorrow so I'll be shopping that afternoon (I made my app at 9:30am so I have all day to shop with my mum!)

I'm really boring. I've only bought 3 big packs of nappies. Coles had BabyLove on special for half price last week and they were sold out of DS's size (when I went back the second time).

Well I ahve decided I need a neww stroller, the one I have I love because it is light weight but it is also a bit too low and I am slumped pushing it! I know I don't need it until bubs is around 6mnths but I am already shopping. I also seen a hammock that pinky mckay was using on ACA and want to get one of them as well..

We have also decided to get new booster seats when we have the bub, by then DD will be almost in one too, and we want to get slim line ones. 3 car seats in the back of one car is a bit squeezy as it is!
We are also getting another cot, as DD won't be ready to move out of hers by the time the bub will need it, she's too much of a scally wag and will get up to mischef if she can get out of a big bed!

The one we are looking at is from Toys r us, it's not cheap as in bout $120 each, but at the moment we just have one of the big foam kinda ones, with the fabric over the top?
These look a lot like a proper car seat, with holes wher the seat belt goes though etc, next time i go there i'll get a look at the name for you! They are not a lot slimmer, but enough to make a difference!
im going out tonight to buy my hospital bag stuff and have a look for a booster seat for ds, i also have to buy some more jumpsuits for the bubs
