Hey Mandy :hugs: :hugs:
It will be alright hun!
If you have had spotting once, you are likely to have it again. Its relatively common.
Go and see your GP/ OB/ED and get checked out, just even get a blood test to check your HCG levels.
Im sure everything will be ok, if you are not going to the hospy/doc/Ob go and lay down with your feet up for a while.
Dont assume the worse till told otherwise, your baby has already proven to be a tough little embey!!!
Take care:hugs:

I am sure everything will be OK:hugs:
If the blood is dark then it is old blood so it is probably just a little bit that was left.
:fingerscrossed: :hugs:
I agree with Renee, if you are worried just go and get your levels checked, you don't have to tell them why just tell them you want to make sure you are alright after your last scare.....Try not to worry it maybe just from BD, it happens sometimes.....
Bright red blood would certainly be a more ominous sign

This can happen too. BronnyJane went through her pg with a haematoma that worried everyone to no end but her baby is fine:yes:
Go get is checked hun, I would. Pack your things and head off to the Dr's or the hospital. Best to get things like this checked.
:fingerscrossed: for you.
I'm sure bub is fine though.
:hugs: , here if you need me.

First of all:hugs: :hugs:
Bleeding during pregnancy should always be checked out, I would be going straight to the doctors. Hopefully its nothing for you to worry about.
:fingerscrossed: everything is ok, and your bubs has stuck.

If you need a scan medicare should cover it as it should be classed as a threatened m/c so therefor it should be free.
Get your dr to right that on the form if he is requesting a scan, so you don't have to pay.

Good Luck this morning hope all goes well and you can get the referal for a free scan to put your mind at ease.
Your little  will be just fine in there!:hugs:
Shorty - Good luck at the Doc's, I am sure everything will be just fine. I think the girls are right about it being 'old blood' it definately sounds like you guys may have just dislodged some when you ummm got busy. I have been looking up bleeding in early preg and it says that red blood is what you should worry about but if yours is not red then I am sure it is fine.
I am thinking of you :hugs: .

Thank you all so much.
Well my GP decided against a scan as he had a look at the blood and he said that it is def old blood. He tried to here the heart beat and he said he heard the faintest beat he said it was still al ittle to early to hear it loudly.
I'm so happy and then i thought why not and went and got 2 pg tests. :o

Mandi i hope it all works out for you hun. And i think i would agree with the doc.

Shorty, glad to hear all is well :hugs:
Just a word of advice hun... I would abstain from having sex for a while as the rubbing on the cervix can cause the bleed.
Wait until the second trimester for peace of mind (I'm sure your other half will understand  )

Glad everything is alright,if this makes it any better,i had the same thing when pg with my first i was about 6-7 weeks along and me and df did the deed and then i started bleeding it was a reddy-brown colour the bleeding continued until a week later just like a period,i was told to refrain from sex and take it easy no heavy lifting etc.I now have a beautiful darling girl who's nearly 2.I believe that lots of people when pg bleed at some stage in the pgc,it isnt classed as normal and not all end in misscarriages.HTH:hugs:

I had quite a few bleeds in my pregnancy, at 6 weeks, 9 weeks, 12 weeks then at the end of my pregnancy.
I had so many ultrasounds to check on bub but they could never find the problem.
when they bleeding started at the end the midwife said my cervix looked slightly eroded and that’s what could be causing the bleeding.
She also said because of all the extra blood going o that area, some women’s cervixes are more sensitive then others. and will bleed if touched.
like hells*bels said don’t have sex until the second trimester for piece of mind.
good luck in the rest of your pregnancy

I had the same thing happen when I was pregnant with DS. It was caused by having sex. The spotting stopped and all was well. Take it easy and good luck with your pregnancy.:hugs:

Let Us Know How You Go
Like a few other women here, I had bleeding from 10-15 weeks... it ranged from old to new blood... sometimes it was just blood-stained CM, and other times it was heavy bleeding. It was very scary and I never thought that my pregnancy would progress.
DF and I also had to abstain from sex (and I was on virtual bedrest for most of the time anyway). We didn't even dare consider doing the deed until I was nearly 24 weeks... even then I was terrified something would happen.
Thankfully, I've had no bleeding since and I'm now 35 weeks pregnant. I thank my lucky stars every day for the little miracle growing within me... he's definately a fighter :)
