This is a baby who has been waking every hour since Christmas - and the night before last woke at 2:30am and would not go back to sleep til 6am!
AND TONIGHT HE SLEPT THROUGH!!
I am so happy I can barely contain myself.
Unfortunately, dopey mummy woke up at 3:30am wondering why he hadn't woken up yet, and was so elated to discover the time that she couldn't get back to sleep which kind of defeated the purpose. But I'm sure I'll manage to get used to it soon enough. Oh, the luxury!
Now I just have to hope this wasn't some wacky one-off fluke :fingerscrossed:

thats great news for you.
i remember when my ds1 slept through for the first time i was at at a loss on what to do i had got into routine of waking up every few hours  now he only wakes for a bottle or new nappy.
,my ds2 already pretty much sleeps through he goes to sleep for the night at 8pm and wakes around 11 for a feed and then goes back to sleep:eek: and he isnt awake et:laughing:
:yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap:
I remember the first time my DS slept through was the night before my first Mother's Day. I had expressed milk so I could sleep through the early morning feed and my DH could get up and feed him, only he chose that night to sleep through for the first time!
He is still such a Daddy's Boy too!! LOL

It must be the time for it to happen. My ds2 who has been a shocking sleeper pretty much for thelast 8 months has slept through the last 2 nights:wizard: .
He goes to sleep at around 7.30 and he wole 11 the first night and had a drink the went back to sleep till 6:30 then last night he woke at 11.30 and just needed a bit of a cuddle then went back to sleep till 6 this morning.
Its so great when they finally start to sleep a little better..... im the same as you though and hoping it wasnt just a short stint and that its more permanent.
Hope your little one continues to sleep well for you.

*bows* Thank you ladies, thank you very much. To top things off, we had the most angelic day: he was so chirpy and rested: ate when he was meant to, dropped off to sleep without a peep at the perfect times. Please, please, please let every day be like this...!
