Hi All,
Am new to this site and wanted to say hello.
Just wanted to know if anyone out there knows of anybody or is doing what I am doing this month.
I am a single 33 year old woman (straight). Have been thinking about having a child on my own for over 2 years now.
I have had relationships with guys but they have not worked out - hence why I am still single.
At the end of this month I am going to try and get pregnant by donor sperm.
My friends and family think it will be the best thing that has happened to me. It's not the life I had planned. I had hoped to find someone who I can share my life with and then start a family but things don't work out the way we would like.
Medically I haven't been given long to have a child - I only have one ovary and have endometriosis (always going into hospital every year).
Anyway - I won't ramble on and on - thanks for reading and if you know of anyone or you are doing this yourself, I would love to hear from you.
