A Banishment

This is a little call out for some mental help. A little background first, I have known for a while now that I have had some sort of spirit attach itself to me and has never caused me any grief at all really. Never really noticed it. Until recently that is. I am not entirely sure if another spirit has decided to join in the party who is not happy about staying quiet in the shadows.
Our house has a feel to it that makes all visitor feel drowsy and a lot actually end up falling alseep on the couch. Except for myself and DD, we both have major sleep problems. I sometimes only get maybe 4 hours sleep and feel mentally and emotionally drained a lot of the time now.

In this last week, I have had two nights of uncontrolable sobbing. And I mean full on wailing which comes on instantly. And it goes on for at least an hour. Last night, was the final straw. I decided to have a little search on the net for a good banishment spell. As soon as I found what I was looking for, there was a massive bang on the back door. My three cats went nuts. i was a little scared but managed to pull back the curtain to have a look to find nothing, yet the cats were hissing and following something moving with I couldn't see.

I was understandably freaked out, put DD in bed and went to bed to cuddle up to my partner. He woke up and I explained what had happened to him.
This is when DD started talking in her bed. Now she usually does this, but it is a constant chatter. This was like she was talking to not one but two people. She was also singing something that we have never heard before and we had no idea what it was. Then she started screaming. It wasn't a little "I don't want to go to bed scream" but a rather blood curding scream that scared us. Then she went back to talking and singing. This happened another two times before we decided enough was enough and we got her up and all slept on the fold out bed in the lounge room.

Today during the day light, I decided to have another look for a banishment spell and again as soon as I found what I was looking for, I felt an excruciating pain in my shoulder and couldn't move.

Later this evening, I went to a friends house to have a search with them abd when I came home, my partner told me the bang at the door happened again.

So enough is enough, now whatever it is is involving my DD it needs to be removed from this house. At dusk tomorrow (Saturday), I will be doing a banishment spell. Those of you who remember, if you could send some strength my way, those of you who pray, send them my way too. And as you know how I feel about people praying for me, you know how important this is to me!

hey chelle, i know i might not be the person you most want to hear from atm, but i just wanted to let you know that my mum went through a similiar experience a few yrs back. the spirit that attached itself to her was quite nasty and it was very draining on her, like yours, he too did not like it at all when she discovered the trick to getting rid of him, and it took a few nights for him to be gone for good.

dh suspects that ds and dsd also have his 'talent' for seeing unwanted spirits as we have heard and observed some unusual things from them at night, particulary at our old house, will go into the stuff dh can see another time though. anyway i just wanted to say i understand how upsetting it can be, its one thing for these things to hassle us, but quite another when they try and hassle out little ones!! i am sending so many positive thoughts your way, all the best for tonight

I have experienced the feeling of getting rid of spirits and it is amazing - absolute peace and freedom!! I wont go into what we do to get rid of them but I'll be thinking of you this arvo:)

Hi Chelle,

I will be thinking of you too. Whenever I move into a new place I do a little ritual where I imagine a column of white light in each room spinning like a little mini-tornado and moving around the room collecting any negative energy and lost souls and taking them to where they belong (ie out of my house!). I also put a bubble of protection around the house and a filter on the front and back doors to 'catch' any lost souls that might follow me in or be attached to visitors. The house usually feels cleaner as a result and sometimes I have felt slightly queasy during the process (weird!).

Good luck. They might not want to go, but they have to if you tell them to!

Oh Chelle...I cant stop thinking about you and your situation - it is so real.

I am not going to post any advice here because I know how it will be taken but I just wanted to say that if you ever want to know where I am coming from or want to know what we have done to get rid of bad spirits regarding this issue, please dont hesistate to ask.

Other than that, I truly hope that you find peace and freedom from this spirit and that your whole household does too. Best wishes. :)

First, we are definately feeling a difference, but it is going to take more than one go as this one seemed to have a lot of power and determination but I shall prevail!!

Cosmic, I usually do a once over cleansing and protection spell when I move into a new house but this time I didn't. Certainly learned my lesson! Moving with a baby and my parents were helping and it was very chaotic!

Your poor little girl - I think most children are very in touch with the spirit world, being closer from their passing the us. I wonder what makes most people lose those abilitites as they grow older and how others like us have managed to keep them.... theres a thinker

Whoops, I forgot to update everyone!

I don't think we have gotten rid of ghosty, but the energy has definately changed, I don't know maybe there was a swap.

DD was in the bath a few nights ago and grabbed my attention while I was tidying the cupboard. She said that her duck was walking. Sure enough, one of her bath toys was basically walking across the floor of the bath under water. All the other toys were floating on top and there was no "tide" so no water was moving. It was really strange. I picked it up to see if there was any water in it, there wasn't. So I put it back in the bath, where it floated back down under the water, right way up and continued walking around the bottom of the bath.

I found it to be a little freaky but DD thought it was great.

I have had a feeling we have a visitor in our house. Everyone thinks I'm joking when I say we have a ghost, our doors open and shut which my DH explains away by the house moving. But I have felt, often, that I am being watched and that there is someone/thing near by. I haven't really had much experience like this before, but it doesn't feel threatening almost calm... I often refer to it as her, though I don't know why I haven't seen anything to make me believe it's female.

Ohmigoodness! I'm so glad this thread has been bumped up! I too get the feeling that there is someone in my room other than me. It's strange though, it's only in my room and bathroom and I get the feeling it is a guy. It freaks me out a bit, but I don't think it is bad or scary.........I just scare myself! But for a while bub will have to be in my room with me (when he/she is born) and I don't want it around if my gut feeling is right and I should be scared! So if anyone could tell me (or pm me if that's better) how to get rid of it, I would appreciate that very much! TIA

just read all that went on sent shivers up my spine.
when i was 19 i had a similar experiance, woke up from a dream that the devil was sitting on my chest, when i woke it felt like some one had there hands wrapped around my heart and were squezzing. it really freaked me out. spoke to a friend how's a kabbalist priest and he was going to look into it for me, brought an older hippy lady over to check it out, as soon as you went into the house you felt depressed cold and alone. she knew the people who lived there before me and told me they had a lot of paintings of a friend up. this friend commited sucide about aweek before this happened, guess he was drawn to his old energies. so we did a cleansing and that night my mum astral travelled to my room, told me that it was a guy with long hair and he was really sad and she asked him to leave. next morning i had a chat with him told him that i didnt need this in my life and asked him to leave, then opened up a window and he was gone.

Our house was built in 1901. The house next door on one side was the original hospital, our house was the old nurse's quarters and the house on the other side of us was the old matron's quarters so I do believe there are probably spirits around....
