Hi everyone

When I was pregnant with my son, I knew about one - two weeks before I got the postitive on the pee stick. We started trying (sort of) this cycle and things have been weird - I seem to have had ov pains early and now am wondering if this was ovulation or not. No real pregnancy feelings, so probably am not - but was just wondering when and if, you knew?

How did you 'know'? I keep thinking that I will also 'know' but 3 cycles on and no news.
Was is obvious in terms of symptoms or was it more an instinct?

I knew straight away. I just felt different. We weren't trying at all, it was just a spur of the moment thing, no contraception. The following night I had a dream I was pregnant and gave birth to a girl. I didn't get a positive line on the HPT until about 4 or 5 weeks after conception - I think I tested just about every second day!

I had no clue that i was pg until after i got the BFP. I had no signs at all. Some people have good instincts about things, also they might be more attuned to their bodies.

We had been trying for less than 2mths and all of a sudden DS, aged almost 2yrs at the time, started saying sister to me alot...I don't even know where he heard the word. About a month after he started saying this we discovered I was preg...and a few mths after that the ultrasound showed we were having a girl :) The last few days he has been talking to his sister on his phone and he says she is coming on saturday, which is today, I hope he is right again :)

I am one of the "I just knew" - we took 5yrs to fall pg with DS1, so when it finally did happen (naturally after two cycles of IVF) this almost overwhelming calmness came over me and I could feel the hormonal changes happening - wow (that's how I came up with the name peaceangels - thats what I called my bub's when I was growing them).
It was the same with DS2, but I was kind of in denial (DS1 was only 6mths old), but again had that overwhelming feeling that I was pregnant, I just felt different (something must shift in me  ).
The "I just knew" feeling is wonderful - I feel all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it now :D

After 2 yrs ttc I was sure I wasn't!

I couldn't handle another BFN at that point, I was 2 weeks late before I worked up the nerve to test, when it was a BFP I didn't believe it, when the second test was positive I was still not sure, only after the positive blood test I started to believe I was finally pg!

Didn't feel pg until morning sickness hit at 14 weeks 3 days, the same day I felt his first kicks!

I've just known with my 3 pregnancies that ended in m/c. With one of them I also felt the baby die one night. I dreamt of a dead kitten and woke with a start and felt a sensation like a light going out in my body. My pregnancy signs tailed off over the next day or so. With my ds' pregnancy we'd been trying for over 2 years at that point and I'd had 2 of those m/c so I was just in really strong denial but I still knew in myself. Some women even know the very second that sperm meets egg, my sister's like that, and I think that's pretty groovy :D
