View Full Version : Are You Loyal?

There's lots of different cloth nappies out there.
About 1000001 different pocket makers, fitted makers, AIO makers and the rest... but the question is.. are you a loyal customer or do you pick and choose?

Do you find a good product and stick to it? What makes you stick - the workmanship, the quality or the customer service? Do you feel naughty when you stray off the path and choose a different nappy maker?

Well i have only tried the one AIO and i'm happy enough with it and i'll stick with it. I am not interested in shopping around and all of the other pockets etc things confuse me! lol

So i am loyal yep! :D

Hell no! I stray. I like seeing what's out there, what works and what doesn't.

TBH i would be bored with the whole MCN bizo if i was loyal :o

I probably should be loyal and probably shouldnt admit that I have 5 different varieties in my stash! I have my favs and obviously they are the ones that I believe in and sell but I do have others and do use them....

I stray, I like to try different types and compare/ If I like them then I get a few of that brand if no like I sell them on.

I'm loyal. At last count I had 26 Green kids nappies - 20 anytimes, 4 funtimes and 2 dreamytimes.

I also have an Erica VBSN, but to be honest - it doesn't get out much!

I tried BBH - but hated them - and got the Greens and they were fantabulous! So I don't see the point in trying anything different...

I forgot to add: I ADORE my fuzzi bunz! I don't mind my Liam's pocket although it won't fit Liam for much longer.

Tam-I-Am, I'm with you on BBH. After hearing so many great things about them, I was disappointed with it.

I'm a GK junkie :p They are the only MCN nappies i like. Other than that we use flats.

Well, we will be doing the above again as soon as this nose of mine settles down

Oh I like to compare. I have my faves - quality sewing gets me like Kidz In Cloth and Pookey Pockets - and effectiveness. I am very indecisive so makes it hard each nappy change to choose but its fun and Av can point which one he likes!
The journey has been fun.
Obviously my fave nappies aren't readily available so in that way I am forced to use other nappies. I like bamboo cos its just soft and effective. I also like side snap for great fit on my skinny bub. Very Baby are great - Lor's sewing is wonderful.
We are lucky in Aus to have such great nappy makers not to mention knitters.

Afte reading this and also posting that i wouldn't bother using anything else. I have been drawn to look into other ones. I like the look of the BBH (if that's the one with the bee on it, i'm just guessing the abbreviation here..) But the others i can't find. Hmmm, anyone wanna pm me more details of other suppliers. :)

I definately have my favs. Love the convenience! and once i know that something works well i tend to stick to it.

However i have strayed twice, but havent been as happy with them, so now i just stick with what i know!

I'd have to say it would depend on the type now that I think about it...
I've been pretty loyal to BBH since I'm loving the fitteds and they're one size, so while Ben is outgrowing clothes every two weeks it seems, he's still in the same clothies. He's actually in TODDLER disposables now!
With the BBH I use fleece covers and that's his "bottom" with a t-shirt when it's hot out and he doesn't get nearly as sweaty as with PUL.

I'm getting into pockets too as the bamboo is so absorbant (and will be getting the microfibre too) that it's nice and trim for when we're out and about. Just buying a package from Greenkids atm! lol

I would say I am extremely loyal. I have several brands I use all the time, all Aussie wahms. However I will try something new from time to time if it looks promising, but only if an initial inspection shows that it meets a certain criteria, fabric quality and sewing quality-wise; and gee there is some badly made stuff out there to be wary of!

I am loyal yes & love my GK's but also love CK's but am willing to give something a go in regards to finding a nappy thats suits a particular need.
So Boof has all GK's because they work with him so he will have them through to TT. Whereas for the first say 4-6mths Bump will get to try lots in regards to finding something that works ! Plus being a winter baby will mean lots of wool soakers & then once summer hits we need lots to show off ;)

I am loyal but if the other types that I like were more readily available then I probably wouldn't be.

I mostly make my own now anyway, and this was because I got so frustrated at not being able to get the nappies I wanted.

I have my fav's, but love trying out anything with great reviews that I can get my hands on :D
I'm just starting to enjoy trying out different WAHM pockets and love bamboo. BBB's are not enough- I'd like to try a bamboo VBSN.

There's too much variety and so many great nappies out there to stick with one brand!

I have my favourites and very occassionally will I go and buy something different. I stick to what works well for us, and something that's well made with great customer service.
