Egg donor/Recipient Buddies

Hey Ladies

Is anyone interested in starting buddy groups for donors and recipients on here? I am happy to chase up newies and coordinate etc, but know just how much support and information I got from those who took the time and care when I first put a big toe into the water.

Please post back if you think it is worthwhile and if we get enough response we can start matching newies who join with those who have already cycled, both recipients and donors. (And of course our lovely Leisurely who is a real flagship with her embryo donation knowledge).

Isn't it fantastic that this forum has gone from a few tentative posts to a full blown discussion area and some amazing matches and even a couple of babies on the way - that is some kind of awesome. We can't thank you enough Hil and Bubhub..oh, better ask if this is OK to do, I assume it is but kick me otherwise.

I also think this would be a great idea. Without this site I would not have known where or how to start looking for a donor. As soon as my clinoc told me I needed to find a donor it was out the door thanks for coming see you when you have a donor. I'm still not sure of the procedure once I find an :angel: but once I do I
guess it will all fall into place.

What a fab idea. :yelclap: There are so many wonderful people here with a wealth of knowledge so why not share that wealth.

Yay girls! PM me to say which side of the fence you want to be on, either New Buddy or Old Buddy. Some recipients/donors haven't yet cycled but know everything while others have cycled yet would like a hand to hold so let me know what you would like.

Well our first match is underway and have a list of names for new matches......awesome girls, thankyou for your interest and willingness to help someone else.

Might do a sticky so any new people can see they can ask for a buddy if they want one.
