Do you have any particular music that gets you in the mood to clean? For me it's musicals like Les Miserables, Big River and Jesus Christ Superstar. Also anything John Farnham! :p I think it's because my mum used to listen to them a lot when i was growing up and we always cleaned the house to loud music! I listen to them at work now and it really helps to get me working!

Hi,

Club V or VH1 on Foxtel works for me..all the lastest music in the charts etc...

For me it's musicals...

Same, I love cleaning to the Little shop of horrosr soundtrack, & Grease!!

But I also love worship music to clean to aswell (Hillsong etc)

I love music that has beat to it, while im cleaning. Theres nothing better than music that you can dance to while your swinging the mop around on the floor!!! :p

LOL!!! :D Im sorry i had to laugh when i read your post. We've all had moments like that. Im lucky at the moment Jayden listens to anything. When he starts to understand ill have to get into the jive of the wiggles music too!! :D

No need to apologise, I'm glad you had a giggle. My life has been taken over by a 2 year old :D

When I took DS to Dorothys Dance Party and they started singing Rock-a-bye you bear, I said to DH...this is my favourite song :cool: How sad is that?

Might go and put some real music on and see what DS does lol

LOL! Its not sad at all i like that song too. I know all their songs because my youngest sister was a huge fan of theirs so i got to know them pretty well. My DS likes video hits!! :D When i brought him home from hospital i put him in front of video hits and he actually enjoyed it. He still watches it to this very day!

i like anything that gets me moving when it comes to the housework, a bit of Live is always fab and anything else that reminds me of a good night out with the girls lol

I have the cd from RENT which gets me in th mood for HEAVY cleaning (karaoke of course) or if I have general work to do the one hit wonders gets me going, or something like Dusty Springfield or the soundtrack from My Best Friends Wedding.

I have just chased down the cd from the musical Secret Garden and Joseph so shall be joining you Puk very shortly. Unfortunately for my neighbours though as my shoebox is in an estate of town houses .... LOL hope they like musicals cos it'll be full blare!!!

OR - has anyone heard of Bond? Its a classical music quartet - these girls play their violins and are FANTASTIC! I'm going to walk down the aisle to one of their pieces actually.

I love listening to music I know the words to that I can scream out over the vacume cleaner. Matchbox 20 or Alanis...Depends on where I am emotionally on the day. Somedays I put something on and I have to change it..Its either too fast or too slow. But usually, there is Play School or Barney on so I'm singing to that most of the time.. :p

I love Bond!! I have a CD of theirs here at work that i love to listen to!
