I'm going to take the plunge and sew up a couple of my own and see how they go. I finally found a power cord for my sewing machine on Ebay (went walkabout) so I should be able to start in the next week or so.
What pattern do you use? I looked at a few on the net and they all seem pretty similar. I'm going to make up a couple of basic fitted nappies with velcro closures.
If it works well I will look into ordering bamboo fabrics and PUL for covers but at this stage will probably just cut up a couple of towels or a flannelette sheet (my linen cupboard overflows). I'm going to knit a cover as well, I can't believe how easy the patterns for those are.
