A mothers group/playgroup is starting at Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook (near the Logan Hospital).

The first meet up is on Tuesday 8 Nov 10am. Future dates/times/locations to be decided by whoever is interested!

We hope to meet up with Mums who are supportive of instinctive parenting, extended breastfeeding, babywearing and co-sleeping. However, everyone is welcome - it is not at all necessary to adopt all or any of these practices!

hi there. I didnt know this meeting was on today and just took my little fellow out for the day. that was an auspicious coincidence!! It was lovely meeting other like minded mums and i would definatly be interested in meeting up again. i dont know how to pm but my email is mark-danni@bigpond.com.au. i looked on the natural parenting website forums but i couldnt find any mention of playgroups on this side of town. :)

Hi mumoffour, it was really nice to meet you, I would be interested in making it a weekly or fortnightly meetup, to PM, you simply click on someones user name, and a drop down menu will appear, and on of the options is to PM.

Hello!

Great idea starting a instinct/ ap play group.
Sounds like it will attract very open minded parents and children!!!

Hi Malin, it seems to be Tuesday mornings, 10am, My son just loves that park, so I'm just going to turn up on that day every week.

Greetings To you all!

Sorry we can't make it on Tuesday, I chipped my elbow on Friday, So We will be busy going to See more Doctors and do more xrays in the begining of the week.
So please keep me up to date with how the group is going!
I do wish this gathering will bring together some very open minded people!

Ouch! That sounds nasty, I hope it isn't too debilitating, and you manage to heal well.

Taking very high doses of vitamin C does help a lot with taking the pain away....

i am going to bring Andy's bike next week- the paths are great for riding on. I might bring a big ball for them to play with too. :)

Hmmm- I'd love to join- But I'm sooo not for most of that stuff lol

BF- absolutely- extended- not really-
But a gf of mine & I will hopefully meet some more people down this way!
