Latley James (15mths) has been ending up at the other end of the cot with his head on his blanket like a pillow.
Do you think he wants a pillow?
Do you think I should get him a pillow?
Im confused to when I should introduce a pillow to him and im also scared because of sids etc:confused:
TIA
I didn't get DS a pillow till he was about 20mths and that was a cot pillow which is smaller, if you want to get James a pillow he should be right with a cot pillow,

My Ds has been sleeping on a pillow since he could get up on all 4s. So about 6 mnths. It is prolly against sids regulations however he didn't like sleeping flat on his back. he loves his pillow and he is now 12mnths old. sids wise, i can only say what worked for me, so don't take my advice, you are better off asking a professional like ur health nurse.

Thanks Giz..Yeah I was thinking of just getting a cot pillow...
Do most shops sell cot pillows or will I have to go to a actual baby shop?
Big W sell them:thumbsup: Cheap too and soft
I got DS from target, I think kmart sell them as well, they say not to give your kids a pillow before 2 years old, but I think you should be sweet with a cot pillow before 2 years

DD1 had one at about 18 months when she went into a big bed. I recommend the tea tree ones (not overly sure of the brand name, but think it's 'Tetra'?), as they can't/won't suffocate with them if they put their face to the pillow.
I wouldn't have given her a pillow at all if it wasn't for these, and only did as her head was bumping against the bedhead.

both my ds had pillows at around 12mths. I have never had any problem with them as long as you get small ones that arnt to high.

DD has the "Tetra Tree Tea" pillow. It comes in the cot size, and apparently is much more breathable cause of the material that its made of.
