Brisbane meet Tuesday 8th November

Hi guys

Just wondering who is interested in meeting at the museum next Tuesday at 10am. We can walk to Southbank and either have a swim, talk, walk around or just have a picnic and hang out.

We are meeting at 10am at the front entrance of the museum downstairs near the front entrance to the Science Centre.

Come and have lots of fun and this will be an good opportunity to meet up with other mum.

Well, as an experienced mum of 2 aged 37, poo to your idea of only wanting up to 25 years of age, you don't know what you're missing out on.

Maybe us so called 'oldies' (over 26 according to you) will organise our own get-together.

You really shouldn't block yourself off from other mums, you might be surprised by how much we know and what advice we can offer. (A lot of us may be older mums but still have the heart and mind of a 'youngie').

Oh no no no lets not get into segregation here people :eek: I'm a youngie, I think (23)? and I want to go to all the meets too, so please can we ALL go to ALL the meets please? I want to meet out going fun people I dont care if your 15 or 55 I just want to know you all, so I think this meet is ok for everyone to attend isn't it?
I know it was edited to say anyone could come, so are you guys going to come now, or feeling a little too hurt now?
I'm sure it wasnt intended to be ageist, they just didnt consider everyone . I did a post like it myself the other day and had to edit it. We all make booboos. :p

How was your meet today, (I promise I would have turned up but I had to take our new car in to get the windows tinted and I'd already cancelled it once).

I'll try and make it to your next meet and might even bring a few more oldies with me.

please fill us in... and if the turn out was poor... please dont be discouraged to organise another ... I PROMISE once this baby gets out - I will be very keen to meet up with others!!
