Can you take her to another doctor? If you think they aren't helping I'd be taking her somewhere else for a second opinion.
Hope shes ok.:hugs:

:hugs: It's tough to be the mummy

If you are not happy with the doctors you are seeing (ie they loose films etc) perhaps you could ask around for a new GP - someone who's more understanding about children.

I second what Faeml said. Find a new GP. Losing films is not good. Our GP is lovely with DD. I have concerns about her hips and general walking, her foot seems to turn in and she still runs very stilted, more like a 2 year old than a 3 year old. So the GP has sent us off for xrays next week.

Hi Jess,
Your poor little DD. Your baby health nurse might be a good place to start - she might have seen it before and should able to refer you onto a better GP!

If it makes you feel any better my dd 20 months old is forever hurting herself:thumbsdown:.She bangs her head, kicks her toe, falls over watever it may be.Mayby your dd is just like my dd and a bit clumsy, thats just what i thought:confused:.Who told you that you dd had hip/leg problems or did you just figure this out yourself?

Hugs to your dd,i hope you are feeling better.

i went to my doctor to see her over something and she picked up that her foot was very truned in even when she was sitting so i went to a foot doctor and he sent us to get x-rays coz her hip was truned in and we got them done then the doctor rang to see if we had got them done but the place we had got the x-rays at had lost them and we still havent heard back.

Hmmm,...you seem to have such a bad run with that little girl...... I agree with the others,..find a new GP,......someone who specialises in Paediatrics,........they should have a better manner,.... And losing the film is just incompetance,..I hope they compensate you.

I would definetly take her to another doctor and ask for a referrel to someone who can help...

for yrs i got stuffed around with my sons hearing which was linked to his behaviour probs...doctors telling me i was overreacting...u just moved house..u had another baby...hes attention seeking....

i lost it one day...went into a new doctor with hubby who had to take the day off coz i was soooo OVER IT!...was told the same ****...put my foot down and demanded to be referred to a paedetrician....alot of dollars and a great doctor later...prob sorted...ohhh and i was right....

sorry for rambling but i know how frustrating it is....:ecomcity:
