Sore Throat From Vomitting

Ummm not sure if anyone has any ideas but im dying & well yes this baby is helping me get there faster :p

I will admit now this round isnt as bad as when i was pg with Boof cause by this stage i was vomitting blood & had ripped my throat open etc so yeah none of that yet.
But its mega tender & im in enough agony with cramps & vomitting id like to at least lessen this pain if i can.

Im mainly vomitting bile & i would say around 2 cups of it at least 3 times a day ( again better to Boof where it was 10 times a day ! ) the other times its mainly food if anything. The gagging is also hurting.

So if anyone knows of anything i can take to help my throat i would appreciate it.
I cant keep much down but i can at least try !!!!!

Just reading your post brought back all the horrible memories of having HG with DS. I would brush my teeth to try and get ride of the taste but even that would come straight back up:thumbsdown:
Has your Dr got you on Zofran??

Ahhh...takes me back!
The only thing I can think of is the Difflam spray. I know it works an absolute treat on sore throats and really numbs the area.

To be honest i just wish i could stop the vomitting, i really need to get to the doctor its just the 20min walk there & back makes it rather off putting as well as sitting in the surgery with my bucket :rolleyes:

Will get DP to take a walk tomorrow to get me some ice blocks sheesh why didnt i think of that *smacks head * & some Soothers

I cant gargle, like Rell talked about even brushing my teeth results in me vomitting :rolleyes: So even Difflam is out cause that makes me gag when i have a normal sore throat lol.
I cant wait for that blissful moment like i had with Boof after my shower in the birthing suite, brushing my teeth & going " OMG im brushing my teeth & im not gaggin !!!! " :smiliedance:

Hopefully it ends at 16wks ... Yeah right i can dream lol ! But i figure if i can make it half way i can then make it the rest of the way. Thats all that kept me going last time !

Honey, did it for me aswell, like someone else has said, also mints and dry crackers and apples, helped with my morning sickness, although i had it right up to the word push! (That i didnt really hear coz i had a csection :laughing: )
