View Full Version : Need new pram!
Hey guys, I have a big 3 wheeler pram which we dont use often as its so big and hard to manouvre. I bought an umbrella pram a little while back which was about $80 and it has been great with just taking DD to the shops and what not but it has turned out to be crapola. The hood has bent and wont go forward and I have come to realise I need a pram that will recline too as this one doesnt.
I also want it to face either way. Anyone know of a pram that faces both ways, reclines and folds up to be umbrella size? Oh and it cant be very very very expensive
im not picky much
lol im gonna have to say the childcare infinity:yes: I tested it out (mine is on layby) and its great:thumbsup:
only $139.95 at target and its a clearance item so it will get cheaper. you turn the seat around, so it always steers easy(compared to a reverse handle pram that is really hard to steer with handle reversed)
only thing is its not really umbrella sized when folded. you wont find a reversable handle/seat one that does fold that small that I know of. its also reclinable:yes:

If you're willing to wait about 2 months I can give you my pram that I wont be needing anymore!
It fits your description except the reversible part. Also its in great condition!

Same here, I'm looking at the Chicco C5 and Steelcraft Enigma, both around $160. Both fold up like umbrella strollers, are light, good quality but they don't have reversable handles. I don't know of any light strollers with reversable handles at all.
As far as I know none of the umbrella strollers have reversible handles. The ones that do have reversible all seem to be those ones that fold into kinda squarish flat things that arent nearly as small and compact as the umbrella ones.
My recommendation is a Steelcraft phoenix. You've seen mine and I absolutely adore it. Can get different colours and it doenst way much fo anything and you know ive taken it on buses and trains. And even up to Queensland!! It only cost me $110.
ON the other hand. Check out the Big w stores. I noticed the one near me had a heap more on stock and the one at bankstown has a few. We should go pram shopping. Good excuse!!

Ive got the Steelcraft Profile stroller & we love it
Not only is it suitable from newborn because it lays back but you can also get the capsule that fits it.
We got it because Boof was still at the age he would sleep when we were out. Doesnt happen these days but at least i can lay him back a little if he is grumpy etc.
Its not heavy & folds like an umbrella stroller so very easy.
Ummm not sure what else to say but yeah tis awesome !
Has anyone tried the Valco Titan. Its an umbrella stroller; 5 position recline, sunshade that zips into the hood, rain cover and adjustable leg rest. Its about $170.

Found a stroller with a reversible handle. Big W have an IGC Zu Zu stroller, not sure how it folds though, it's on their website if you are interested.
