View Full Version : Ultrasounds with the print out pics?

hey I've just 20 minutes ago found out I'm pregnant (6weeks aprx) with bubby number 2 I didnt get one with my 1st bub but my friends told me about family and friends of theirs gettin a little picture as well as the film with their ultrasounds I was wondering where i go or what i do to get one of these

I just organised it thru my ob. We had 3D pics done and a dvd burnt. It goes for nearly an hour...its awesome..i suppose it depends which ultrasound place u get referred too...ask your ob...

I was always given my pics right after the scan was finished.

I work in an ultrasound/xray clinic and we give those little pics aswell as your big films. I think it just depends on where you go to whether they do it or not....

some places do give out pics some dont.

with my early scans it was a big sheet of film.

at the hospital for the morphology(18 wk) scan you could pay $10 for a set of 4 pics that u had to choose during the ultrasound.

now, they give you a CD.

They really shouldnt charge for the pics..thats asking abit much i think...maybe for a dvd they can ask for money to cover costs...:idea:

the money went to the hospital charity fund, and it was a public hospy. I was more than happy to pay considering everything else was free

...thats ok then...i went privately and had to pay alot for my ultrasounds so i would b peeved if they asked me to pay for the photos...but thats actually a good idea...what hospital was that?

hey i noticed your in wynnum and i'm wondering if it's the one in wynnum on clara st you work at cos thats the nearest one to me and it'd be great if they did the pics

ive had three ultrasounds since ive been pregnant and each time i have just asked for the pics

the dvd i had to pay for at the 18 week ultrasound

i guess it depends on where you are going tho

I think they are talking about the x-ray type films IYKWIM.
