Ok so last night when dp and I got home from watching the fireworks we found a box near our door step. Now we live in a unit so we thought it was the neighbours as we were looking for our keys we heard the box meow I took it inside and there were 2 kittens in the box they would of only been about 2-3 weeks old not even they can barely walk yet. We do have 2 cats already and really cannot afford anymore. I don't like the idea of taking them to the pet store or to the shelter as I do not know where or to whom they are going to... if worse came to worse we could keep them but with a baby on the way we really cannot afford them. so I guess I am asking if anyone is wanting a kitten or 2 and they live in Melbourne I have 2 here a male and female. I am not sure on the breed but the are black and white.

I guess it just makes me sooo up that people could just abondone 2little innocent kittens like that with no fuss whats so ever those people should be shot

I have got 2 big male cats so I can't help you out with adoption.
However, if they are so young they will need special care until they reach at least 6 weeks before finding homes. Are you up for that job? maybe get some advice from the vet or animal shelter on how to raise them over the next few weeks. Then when they are ready, if you don't get any takers from here, run an ad in the trading post under "free to good home".
Good luck, they obviously found you for a reason :)

Hi,
I am a vet nurse and in Perth alot of vet clinics have adoption centres they take in stray cats vaccinate them, sterilise them, microchip them etc then sell them, so they tend to go to good homes because people have to pay for them =, when we had people come in looking for a free cat and we told them $150 which is very reasonable considering everything they got for that price and they didnt want to pay it we figured we did not want someone like that having one of our cats, you may also find one of the nurses will be happy to hand rear them until they are old enough to be rehomed, good luck.
