what form of contraception to use?

Hi ladies and hope 2007 bring lots of happiness and good health to you & loved ones!

I'm due for my 2nd child on Feb 10th this year, and DH and I have been discussing what form of contraception to use, but haven't been able to decide on one yet. Two kids are plenty for us, and we wouldn't want a third popping out AT ALL, so anyone here can share their experiences with a fail-safe (100%) method of birth control. In all seriousness, I don't want to ever have an abortion, but if I ever become pregnant for the third time, I think I'll go crazy because three is too many for me to handle.

Please share the good and bad points of the contraception method you are or have been using, and perhaps associated cost to put in, and effectiveness and/or side-effects.

Pill for me...however got preggers twice on pill...but now take it religiously with an alarm set on my phone..before just took it wnhenever i remembered....ooops

haha, my form of contraception at the moment is abstinence! Poor DH! But until i get something more permanent i am not going to even risk it right now. I have heard the mirena and implanon are good for long term contraception, but you'd better find out the pro's and con's from other women here or ask your doc.

I am on the Pill too, Yasmin, I like it as I almost feel "normal"...
I have used Implanon, but I hated it...I put on weight and found it hard to lose, I didn't have a period for 2 years (didn't like that didn't feel normal) and I was so angry all the time:mad: , I could get so worked up over nothing....Mind you my cousin has implanon and swears by it....
Each to their own I guess...
