My DD2 is coming up six months and after a few weeks of indecision I have decided to go back on the mini pill. I started taking it just after my 6 week check up and then decided to stop and let nature take its course.

Well now I've changed my mind (again) and decided maybe I'll give myself a bit of space before going back for no. 3.

I've only started taking it again today and my bubba ain't happy! I think I've read somewhere that it can change the taste of your milk, is this true or am I imagining things? She's never had a problem feeding before and is a very settled little girl but feeding today has been a nightmare - she's kicking, squirming, pulling faces and crying while pulling on and off. I just don't know what to do but I'm sure this can be the only reason.

Do I stop with the pill again or persist? Arrgghh!

I didnt have a prob with EJ when i started on the minipill - Maybe keep on it for a few days and see how she goes?

EJ sometimes acts like that with feeding when she had sore gums from teething - Is it possible that could be a cause of how is acting?

i didn't like the minipill when i tried it, mainly because i just bled a lot, i don't remember the feeding being different, although i have heard that for some it is.

i know that my 2nd bubba fed fussilly at certain hormonal times of the month, so i think that hormone balances can affect lactation and some babes seem more affected by it than others.

so individual i guess.

i hope that you find something that works for you.
