What is heart burn like?

I was just wondering what heart burn feels like and if it was actually a pain in you chest. As all day I have been getting chest pains and as the day has gone on they are feeling a bit worse. Its a really wierd feeling. Do you think it sounds like heart burn?

Hmm it's kinda hard to explain. I got heartburn a little in my chest but alot at the bottom of my throat, that would feel like acid burning- haha I know not that bad but at the time I thought it did.

Have you tried using anything for it? I used Mylanta, they don't taste that good but it works a treat!

No i havn't tried taking anything like that cos I dont have have any as this has never happened to be before.I have only taken only Nurofen Plus to try to ease the pain but has not worked yet. It does not feel like buring just like a pain in my chest especially if I cough or breath deeply.

I dont think nurofen plus would actually help ur better off getting some quick eze and seeing if u get any relif from that heart burn can be like a chip stuck at the back of ur throat pain then like heaps of acid in ur throat... drink a bit of milk should help, some peppermint chewy? HTH
