I'm hoping someone can help...
I know that there are fireworks in town at 9.15pm for families but I don't fancy battling the crowds in there with the boys to watch them.
Anyone have any ideas on where would be a good spot to view them from around Melbourne?
I was thinking up on Mount Dandenong (at the Sky High carpark), which is not far from our home, but I'm not sure if we'd see much from there.
Any other suggestions?

It depends how far you want to go you go head to the Yarra Blv I am sure that you could see them from there. You can't see much from Mt Dandy we tried that one year but really it was a bit of a waste of time.

Thanks for that Mel...saves us driving up there then - didn't think we'd see much...:(
I just can't be bothered going into town though...it's such an ordeal!

:party:we used to watch the fireworks from the Westgarth Bridge on High St in Northcote - its the part between Westgarth and Northcote Hill and its a pretty good vantage point without getting too close.

Have fun wherever you go!
