Hi Ya's:wave:
Just wondering if anyone has held a murder mystery weekend.The one where you give your guests a "contract" to eliminate another person.If they do they then take on that persons contract and so on until one is left standing.Has anyone organised anything like this, if so how did you go about it?

I've done nights - and there are companies who come in & run them. Maybe there are some who run weekends too?

Sorry should have stated I have to do it myself because I live rural and would not have any hope of anyone doing anything remotely exciting up here like that.

Can you get hold of a How to Host a Murder game? Or maybe contact one of these companies & explain you are rural and would like some pointers :)

Yes I can buy them but have heard they aren't much chop...this is a more interactive game over the course of the weekend.Not to worry, I'll just have to get creative!

This may be a bit late but i've played a game that may help.

basically you have three peices of paper for each person. On the first slip you write their name, on the second an object (to kill with) and on the third a location.

The names all go into one draw, the objects go into a seperate draw, and the location into a third draw.
Each person draws out a name of who they are to kill, an object to kill them with, and the location in which to do it.

(You could do the draw yourself and then allocate accordingly if you wish).

Then each person has to kill their person in that place with that object before they get killed. If you kill someone successfully then you take on the person/object/location that they were ment to complete. (if it turns out that they have you, then you have committed suicide)
YOu continue on until everyone has been killed. The winner is the person who has killed the most people.

It is heaps of fun, and everyone becomes really suspicious of everyone.

I played on a contiki trip. I killed someone in a hotel lobby with a pack of cards, and i got killed in a lift with a bar of soap!
I've also played it with students on a school trip and they had a ball!

thats pretty similar to what i ended up doing but i like that better!!! Great idea!
