2 weeks ago tommorow since i had my 2nd elective c/s and again it went great...
i was first in the theatre at 8am, DS was born at 8.26am, we were all (me DP and DS) in recovery by 9am and back on the ward drinking a cuppa by 10am!!
the baby stayed with us from the time he was cleaned up in theatre which was really nice
I was bedridden for the first day but up and showered by 9am the following day and was able to slowly walk around the room myself, the next day i was fine and just kept taking my pain killers....by day 4 i went for a walk around the outside of the hospital
All the visitors that came to see me couldnt believe I had just had a baby i looked so well (must have been the rest from looking after a 2 year old at home!)
a week at home later and still okay, not driving yet but able to run the household!!! not even too many problems when i need to pick up my toddler
so all in all yet another positive c/s experience for me!!
