Any single dads in the ACT out there?

Hi

I have been a single dad now for two years. I'm 40 yo so am considered a bit of a late starter I suppose :) In that time I have found it difficult to meet up with other dads so our kids can have some fun together. I am currently part of a 'playgroup' where I meet up with other single mums and their kids every week or so, but I would like to catch up with other dads too. I have tried the normal 'organisations' here in Canberra but no success. If anyone is interested in catching up on a regular basis, let me know.

It's not exactly a playgroup, more a mother who put an add on a Canberra website to get people together on weekends with thier kids. The website is canberraexchange.com.au

Her add is in the 'Personals/Friendships Sought' section. Her add is titled 'Look for Friends'. At this stage there aren't many but some more have approached in the last week or so...just that Christmas has slowed everything down. Give her a try.
