I've posted a similar thread in 30+ mums but really age doesn't matter so am posting here too :D

Anyway, seems there are lots of us who would love to get together for a coffee and chat so I thought I'd bite the bullet and try and organise a meet up.

A bit about me....I'm a mummy to my just turned 3 year old daughter and number 2 is due in April. We're new to Melbourne so would love to meet some new friends.

Hope someone is interested in doing this too, post here if you are, don't be shy!

Sounds good - I don't have a car, so it'd need to be somewhere easy to get to by public transport. I'm in Clayton.

A Melbourne meet gets organised every month.. (we have been doing it for over a year now :))

Perhaps you would like to organise the january one...?

You need to choose a location that is easy for people using public transport, then do a poll to choose what day.

Its usually a 10:30 am sort of time.

Thx for letting me know about the once a month meet up's, they sound great. If ok I'd opt not to organise the Jan one, might leave it to someone who knows a bit more about the meets, but thx for offering anyway :)

I'm new to Melb and really want to meet other mums & mums to be. I posted about having a meet up to hopefully make some new friends and perhaps meet more regularly than once a month and especially some people around my area.
