OK I need some help! It has just started to heat up a bit, and DD went 14 hours between feeds last night ( it's great that she slept through but I just worried all night and woke up every hour to check on her anyway!) and she woke up with heat rash, so I decided to change her cot!!

Well that was fine we now have cotton sheets instead of flannellette and a light donna instead of 2 heavy blankets, she is sleeping in only a singlet and nappy and is wrapped in a light blanket with one arm out (i'm in the process of making muslin wrapes).

My PROBLEM is that now she is kicking all this off herself and wont settle to sleep -she has just finally gone off now after half an hour of me trying to settle her - I usually just put her straight down and walk out of the room and off she goes to sleep!

So how do all you smart mums make their cots so our bubbies stay tucked in??

Do I just need bigger sheets? I thought that cot sheets would be fine why else wuld they make them???

Never had much luck keeping either of them under the covers. I used to just put them in an all-in-one suit! Depending on how old DD is might help some others help you. My DD refused to be wrapped at about 9-10 weeks, she'd always break free. Sorry I couldn't help.

Have you thought about ditching the sheets and using a sleeping bag instead?
We did,and it's so much easier. You can get lightweight ones to use now that it's getting warmer. :) If she still needs to be wrapped you can wrap over the bag itself. :)
