Today we lost our dog, Suzi from bloat. Suzi was never a wilting flower and im not suprised she decided to leave us on Christmas day...she would have wanted to make sure we never forgot her!

I love you Suzi and we will miss you so very much.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

We lost our precious puppy-dog in September. I still shed a tear over her now - they really become such a part of the family.:hugs:

Thank you all for your thoughts. Its a particuarly hard blow for my parents. Its funny how animals really do become family members.

Suzi was buried in a lovely spot near my parents dam. We are lucky to have her sister and 5 babies to reimd us of her every day.

Oh hun im so sorry,

We also lost our dog of 14 years. He just couldnt hold on anymore. At 2 am he woke my dad and dad sat with him as he died. He was my dads best friend. He did everything with him on his farm.

My poor dad never cries much but in the middle of the night on christmas day he was bawling his eyes out alone with port and ciggies. As you can imagine his christmas wasnt the best.

RIP Roley we miss you so much!! :crying:

My heart goes out to you and your dad. Its beautiful that Roley woke your dad to let him know he was leaving. Animals are so intuitive.

I hope your dad is doing ok.:hugs:
