Wanting to meet other mothers Nth Balwyn area

Hi Ladies,

We are expecting our first child together on May 4th 07, we are having a girl! I am currently 21wks plus 2days. Live in the North Balwyn area. Would love to meet new people and posible start up a regular meeting group for coffee n chat, bounce pregnancy ideas around etc. Not sure if i have posted this correctly. I did agree to have people send emails direct to me when i signed up, so hopefully you can contact me via my email address. Hope you all have a very merry christmas tomorrow, looking forward to chatting some more, and who knows possible meeting for coffee ( not that i can drink it at the moment lol). Any way enough rambling on..

No girls names for us this time, we're expecting a blue bundle and I'm due April 6th so only a month before you.

Hot choccy sounds good. I'm not drinking coffee either, I just say coffee and mean a drink in general although I do still love my tea.

Once we get a few ladies who are interested we might find a central spot to meet up. Park, coffee shop, play centre etc I'm sure we'll think of something.

Haven't been on messenger for ages but that sounds like a good idea to get to know people, I'll sign up and let you know my username :)

I'm a new mum in Balwyn which is close enough to N. Balwyn and would love to meet other mums in the area as well. HOt choc would be perfect, I'm not a coffee drinker at all...would have to be a place near public transport as we only have the one car that my DH uses to get to and from work at the moment...I do have messenger but dont use it as much, mainly just my email :)

Hi Karen,

Sorry been a bit slack with holidays and all as you can imagine. Havent logged on here for about a week now. Hubby had work in Canberra and Sydney last week, so i tagged along for the trip, wasnt too bad just a bit hot.
Open for suggestions of where to meet, once i have figured out where will post a thread. Should make it asap though then at least we can all put a face to a name on here. Anyway going to make a cuppa. Hope all is well
