I had my son almost 5 weeks ago, and now my family is complete. I am rather overweight (was 115kg before falling pregnant) Thank goodness Im only 89kg now, but I still have about 30-35kg to go!!! I would love to lose about 10kg by late February, because I have a wedding to go to. I bought myself a walk away the pounds video, so I want to use that 3 times a week. Also want to try and walk for about an hour 1-2 times a week.

Im not too bad with my eating. Just need to watch that I eat healthy snacks now that Im breastfeeding and hungry all the time!!!

I was on weight watchers after I had my daughter, which I thought was fabulous, unfortunately finances dont allow for it this time around!

Who else is on the weight loss journey? Any tips?

Weighed myself today - 89kg! No weight loss this week, but it has been chrissy and new year, so not the best time to be losing weight lol. Dont know whether my 10kg goal is do-able anymore, I only have 7 weeks. Will see how I go!

I am the same weight as you!! I am also trying to lose weight quickly, I am getting married in April and would LOVE to be done to 70kg by then :fingerscrossed:

I have been on the Tony Ferguson diet for the last couple of weeks and it is working really well. I lost 2.5kg in the first week!! I didn't lose any over Xmas but I wasn't really trying either LOL (too much yummy food). I weigh in again on Wed for my 3rd week so hopefully I have lost more.

The TF diet is low carb based and I find this works really well for me, I have tried all sorts of other diets but they just don't work for me. I am very excited because it is a pretty easy diet to stick to and I am seeing results.:smiliedance:

Might have to look at the Tony Ferguson diet!! Just dont want to be spending too long preparing food, cause I got 2 littlies and hubbys not home 4 nights outta 7 each week!!

There is a thread on here called "Tony Fergusson" that you could look at, gives you lots of inspiration.

I am finding it really easy to follow, lots of salads and veges which are so quick to prepare and the rest of the family can have the same. I just add some chips, potato, rice or pasta for the rest of the crew. The basic plan is:

Breakfast: Meal Replacement Shake

M/T : Fruit

Lunch: Meal Replacement Shake & Salad ( If u want to watch the $$$ you can just have a piece of protein with your salad instead of the shake)

A/T: Fruit

Dinner: Protein and vegies/ salad

You can have a MINIMUM of 3 cups of vegies a day and as much Diet Jelly as you like. LOL You soon have a new appreciation for Jelly!! There are a few other snack and foods you can have but this is the basics.

If you have any questions just ask, it seems to be a great diet for losing weight quickly.

You can do it. I have been on Lite n Easy for 4 weeks and have lost 5.6kg. No meal preparation either. I even lost over chrissy. once you get into a habit with your eating (not overindulging etc) you will be fine. I found I was full alot quicker over xmas because I got used to eating smaller portions. Good luck:fingerscrossed:
