Growth spurt??

Hi All!
I have a 15 week old baby who has been such a delight. Up until a week ago he has been sleeping beautifully thru the night, feeding only at 12am and 6am. However this week he has been waking me almost every 2 hours for a feed. What's going on?? Is this what you call a growth spurt?? How long does it last...

Is she happy other than this extra waking. It does sound to me like a growth spurt. Our little bundles never cease to surprise us with these little changes to their routines. Just when you think that you have them worked out, they go and change everything.

Is she a big feeder during the daytime aswell. She is nearly four months old and could be showing early signs for being ready for solids. This might also be why she is waking up. Alot of people might frown upon feeding a baby solids so early, but some children just have very healthy appetites and are hungry more than others.

Hope everything settles down for you. You sound like you are doing a wonderful job.

Firstly i would like to welcome you sunshine girl to bub hub! :D To help answer your question it does sound like a growth spurt to me. That behaviour is typical of a baby who is going through a growth spurt. Also at around 16 weeks they normally do have a growth spurt.
