Days after O to get a BFP

Hi Girls-

I have been wondering what the most frequent time to get a BFP is- (It may save a lot of money in HPT's)

with both my prevoius pregnancies I did not test until I was well and truly late. I am now 10 days past O and have been testing and getting BFN's - (It is christmas time and I just want to know If I can have a drink or 10:o )
Should I just presume that A BFN means no christmas pressie for me, Is 10 days past O a little early to be giving up.

I would say that 10DPO is too early to give up yet! The study that they did of charts on fertility friend found that even with extra sensitive tests being used, that the average day for a BFP is 13.6 DPO.
You could still get that BFP! Bugger that its only 2 days til XMas - maybe test Xmas morning?

Just wondering did any of you also get BFN's before your BFP?

I did I had a bfn at 9 dpo and a faint positve at 11dpo, I took another one at 13 dpo and had a much darker line.

with all my pregs well apart from the first cause I didn't know I was preg till I was about 8wks along (long story) with the others the earliest i've tested and got a BFP was 10dpo, the longest was about 14dpo
