I know...this can change between now and the next 6.5 weeks, but I could not believe it when the midwife mentioned this to me yesterday. I had just finished telling her about how much he has been moving around and that there was no way that he had even thought about descending into that area....I am very excited.
I am a little disappointed in my GP though as at 28 weeks when he did my GTT test apparently he was also supposed to do a FBC (full blood count) and a blood test for my rhesus antibodies of which I asked him about when I went and saw him...midwife was not overly happy with him and now I have to go see him ASAP to get these tests done as I have already had 1 shot of Anti D and am due for my next shot end of next week. I am slightly confused as to why I have to get the rhesus antibody test, apparently it has something to do with whether antibodies have already crossed with my blood or something and if I need a C-section or blood transfusion they have to ensure that they have right blood handy????

Midwife also mentioned to me that bub is a little small..nothing to worry about though..she said that he would be about 2.2Kg at the moment I am 33 weeks and 2 days...she thinks he will be a 3kg bub..but I suppose this depends on how much he grows over the next few weeks...

Thanks for letting me vent this morning...

Oh Bec I can't believe how time has flown - I haven't been here for a while and you've only got 6.5 weeks to go!! I bet you're so excited!

In regard to the Rhesus thing, don't worry too much about it. I am Rhesus negative too. You have the shots so that your antibodies don't fight the baby's blood or something. I had major pregnant-brain  when the doctor explained it all to me but here is an article that explains it better: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/expert/2709.html

Good luck darl, and enjoy your last day at work - I hope they give you a huge send-off and lots of nice pressies!!
