interesting but sorry i dont think its a real rason to circumcise i will be teaching my boy to use protection to stop him gettin stds

but printing that artical to me would make some men go well im circumsised so i cant get it and there for putting others at risk of infection

the theory that circumcised men are at reduced risk HIV does not explain why America has the highest AIDS rate in the western world.

when you compare to countries in Europe where practically nobody is circumcised, and it is close to illegal (Finland, Denmark etc) the contrast is extremely marked.

studies comparing circumcised men to intact men in Africa, are essentially comparing two different groups, most likely with two different common sexual practices.
For example, is it likely that a circumcised Muslim man will be having sex with prostitutes in the first place?

IF there is in fact a reduced risk of HIV with being circumcised, although no studies have so far proven it, this wouldnt actually suprise me, because circumcision simply reduces that available surface area by around 1/2, and many times by much more.

i.e the same way that amputating one of your breasts would reduce your risk of breast cancer by 1/2 (except that this fact is not in doubt).
