Hello,
I'm new to Bub Hub. Would like to meet other mothers who live close to Mt Gravatt/Holland Park. I'm 32 and I have a 6 month old and 4 year old. We have a house that desperately needs renovating (we are doing the bathroom at the moment) and I'm going nuts! Need to get out!! Hope to hear from you.

Thank you for your replies. I went away for a few days, which was bliss. I can do coffee or park I don't mind. Cafe would be good on Monday or Wednesday, park would be good Tuesday or Thursday when my son (4) can come. He doesn't do coffee so well at the moment! I work Fridays and both kids are in care. Next week or week after is fine with me. Let me know what you think.

Hi There,

Im in Mount gravatt East and would love to meet some new people also.

I have a 6 month baby girl and 2 stepchildren aged 9 and 14. I am originally from NZ but have lived in brisbane for 6 years now, unfortunaetly most friends I have made here live up the coast or dont have kids, making it hard to socialise, so ive decided its time to move on and meet some people in the area with kids!

so far by looking at this post you guys sound like your all on my wavelength which is great! i look forward to chatting or meeting up.

to "2kids" im basically free mon-friday any day, my 6 month old cant run around the park but im sure yours cant either! but they would probably enjoy the fresh air! shes pretty good for coffee also, carindale westfield or garden city, id be interested. im easy just let me know what you think. or confirm a day and time.what about you other ladies, sweet vanilla? indian mom? kimmy?
id be intersted in saying gidday to sweet vanilla as your moving into the same suburb!

private email is odiam@bigpond.net.au

I haven't logged on for a few days. So if anyone is interested how is Wednesday morning at Carindale for coffee. I take my son to kindy around 9-9.30. After that is OK. To Cluck Cluck, I am also from Mt Gravatt East. I also don't have many friends that have kids, and my sister and sister-in-law don't have kids, so it'd be great to get to know mothers locally. Let me know.

I'm going to take the plunge and invite whoever wants to come to Coffee Club Garden City on Wednesday morning at 10am. If noone shows, DD and I'll seek retail therapy, (maybe coffee and cake as well)!

I'm pretty sure that the coffee shop on the top level next to Big W is the coffee club. that's the one I mean anyway.

So come one, come all to coffee club Wednesday 16 November at 10.00am.

I have a black steelcraft pram and I'll put a ribbon on the handle, (probably blue or whatever I find around the house). I have shoulder length, light brown hair.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

PS. Mothers only. If you intend to come, let me know.

Hi

I'm 31 years old. I'm a stay at home mum with a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. I have not long moved to Moorooka and before that I lived in Tarragindi

I would love to meet other mums with bubs. I live across the road from a park in Koala Road and would be happy to be a meeting point for a picnic in the park with the kids if anyone is interested?

Please contact me on piparmaru@hotmail.com or post a reply.

Thanks

Tanya :p

Hi
I'd like to come along as well. Any chance of meeting up at Spoon (near the cinemas) instead of the coffee club, as there is a lot more room for strollers, and they have $5.50 coffee and cake before 11am! Just a thought. If you prefer the coffee club, no probs.

Hi Adair

spoon sounds good also! im not sure if 2kids has checked this to know to meet us at spoon though. how about we meet at the coffee club this time,so we can find each other and we could always move to spoon after we have met up at the coffee club? or we could go to spoon next time?
ill check this again in the morning in case the plan has changed from coffee club
look forward to meeting you,
