I'm sick:barf: - have spewed once...the other week I was thinking 'bring on the sickness' (always makes me feel more positive)...but now it's here and I'm feeling pretty crappy:crying:

It's a good sign though:thumbsup:

Havn't been to doctors yet - should probably go - feel a little embarressed though being baby #4... I feel that people are a bit 'judging' when your child 'quota' exceeds 2 - and you definatley should have stopped at 3!

How's everybody else feeling? or am I the only sick bunny?

Hi Tingles

I am feeling fine at the moment, now and again I feel a bit spewy.

I can't wait to see the GP today for the first time, I just need assurance that everything is ok as I don't feel pregnant.

I hope I get sent for an US sometime this week to see how everything is going.

Will report back later after I have been to the GP at 11.45am

Well so far no MS, I am actually really happy bout this, had a terrible time last preg, was sick from 5 weeks to labour.

If I can avoid it this time I'll be cheering!

Mind you the pooey nappies are :barf: not nice at all!!

So far I have felt fine. I thought I had my first bout of m/s on Friday night but now I am thinking it might not have been m/s as I have felt fine ever since. I didnt actually :barf: on Friday night but I felt pretty awful.
I am not counting my chickens before they have hatched though as with my DS I was very sick for months, they had to put me on medication as I just could not keep anything down including water! I keep expecting to wake up one morning and go racing to the toilet but so far it hasnt happened, :fingerscrossed: it wont!

I haven't experienced any m/s (touch wood!!) or had any cravings etc. But still have the tender (.)(.)'s

I really feel no different to normal (other than the sore bbs), so am looking forward to having the U/S done on the 17th January so I can see a heartbeat....just so far away though!!!

Hopefully time will fly by with Christmas and New Year.

Have told my parents, and am telling DH's parents this weekend (wanted to wait so we could tell them in person). Also told a few close friends...it's hard not to!!!

Wishing everyone a happy and safe festive season. :xmas: :reindeer:
Just think, in a months time we will all be around the 12 wk mark.....yay!!! :yelclap:

Oh Tingles, I know how you feel darl. I was pretty sick last time with DD too.

Jamb - I was exactly like you were last time, 5 weeks to 40 weeks, spewing every morning and most of the day very nauseaus(sp?)

I've got the tender and sore (.)(.)'s too - especially under the arms area. I am starting to show so it is getting quite obvious as most of my tops are quite snug. Looks like I will have to go maternity clothes shopping after xmas.

:fingerscrossed: you girls will start feeling better soon. The first trimester is the worst - so I've heard:confused: .

Tingles no one is judging you here as every pregnancy - like every person - is different. You cannot predict how you will feel or how you will look when pregnant. Just keep thinking positive thoughts.

Take care ;)

Shorty - Dont worry "All day sickness" which is what I call it is more common than you think. When I was preg with my DS my m/s started off just like you are describing for the first couple of weeks and then all of a sudden I woke up one morn and :barf: and thats how I was all day every day for 4 months. I hope you dont get like that :fingerscrossed: . Try eating dry biscuits and toast before you start feeling yukky at 10am, that might help.

Feeling fine here except for the tiredness and hungry all day... Maybe thats why I haven't been sick, cause I'm eating all day...

CrazyMonkey - Yeah I am wandering that myself as with DS I was never hungry so I didnt eat as much and I got really sick. But this time I am hungry ALL the time! I am eating so much that I gotta go food shopping twice a week now instead of once! And I have not got m/s yet although my mum and MIL keep telling me its too early for me to get m/s and if I am gonna get it I will get it around next week when I am 6 wks pregnant.

Pebbles, for your sake (and mine) I hope they are wrong... I ate like a horse right through my pregnancy (and after  ) with DS and no m/s, so hopefully the same thing will happen this time...:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

Pebbles and crazym this is my thoughts on the eating V MS!!

I ate like a horse, literally allllllll day with DS, i also spewed allllll day!! After I spewed I'd be hungry so I'd eat again, etc etc etc. So for me it delayed the feeling of sick but it kept coming back anyways:thumbsdown:

Touch wood i havent felt sick yet, but it is such early days:rolleyes:

If it does come I hope to eat less and things like cut up fruit/vege's, I know i have said this before but I am so not putting on 30kgs again

I am seriously praying to the pregnancy god to be kind to me:laughing:

Tired, tired, tired!

Pebbles

Kirst - Yep tired is definately the word for the day. I am literally exhausted, today just after lunch I felt like I needed a nap and I wished I could just lay down on my desk and sleep  I am so tired when I get home these days that I cant even find the energy to cook dinner which is making life difficult coz its not like I can eat take-away!
Also today my (.)(.) are soooo sore, I got up this morning and its like they grew in one night! I barely fit them into my bra and they are just aching.

I think that I've posted this before, but I'm in a bra 24/7. I sleep in a sports racer back thingy to stop that morning 'ouch'! I can highly recommend it.

And investing in one of those 'feeding bras' that aren't as supportive as a full-on maternity bra (they're kind of like a racer back) but they have the flaps for easy feeding.

I think I'm even sicker now since starting this thread the other day...:crying:

Haven't spewed again - just feel sooooo ill:thumbsdown: (10 mins later...update) - I just spewed :barf:

Big :hugs: Tingles.
You know it'll get better, and it's all worth it in the end.

Was it this bad with your DDs?

Tingles

Yeah - I was fairly sick with all my girls - on the first I always did a 7pm spew! LOL! It's a 'good' sign!

I haven't really felt sick yet.

Boobs very very sore. May go and buy Maternity Bras today.

I haven't really felt tired, the opposite actually. The last couple of nights i have been waking up constantly throughout the night.

I know one thing though and that is that for the life of me, i cannot concentrate on my job - nor do i really want to. I have pretty much spent all day on bubhub.

Well I am 6 weeks pregnant today and this morning I had these awful sharp stabbing pains in my left side. I freaked out thinking its an eptopic pregnancy and rang my FS. She calmed me down saying the blood they took last week doesnt indicate anything like that. After I calmed down a bit the pains got alot better. I still got a few little crampy pains though but not the sharp stabbing ones now.
This morning I also felt a little sick, dont know if that was from scaring myself or m/s starting. After I ate I felt alot better. And now I feel fine although very, very tired. Cant wait for this work day to end.

Well I had my scan and I am having twins. So I'm terribly excited and terribly nervous. Has anyone had twins before?? Advice would be great.
