I was thinking, of maybe trying to make a day when most arent working, to bring our DH'S & DP'S along to meet each other.

I don't know about some of you, but my dh never goes out, and doesnt know many people at all. Actually come to think of it, i havent heard him talk about one friend. He is quiet until he gets to know you, and then he doesnt shut up! Lol...

It's just a thought, what does everyone else think? We are always meeting up, and i know i tell DH about alot of the girls i meet and hang out with, and i would really like him, to get his circle of friends and go out more, he sits at home with us, when he isnt working and watches dvd's or reads a book. Or he is sleeping, coz he does night shift most the time...

Just a thought.. Let me know if ur interested..

Hi Alicia, I am new to the forum and so haven't met any of you yet but I think getting DHs together is a great idea. My DH is the same, mostly works nights and doesn't have many close friends. He adores his son and I think he would love to meet other dads!! Let me know if you plan anything.

This is a GREAT idea! Why? because i hate DH's friends! and it would be nice if he made friends with my friend's other halfs so then we could do more together rather than only having separate circles of friends. Well i don't hate them but i don't really like them either. They are the best example of the saying " Men never grow up".
