I'm a Newbie to Newy!

Actually I'm not a total newbie, I lived in Newcastle for 8 years, but have been in Melbourne for the past 2.5 years. We're moving back to Newy on January 15th. :)

We'll be moving to a new estate in Raymond Terrace, near Irrawang Primary School. Is anyone from up there? Can anyone tell me anything about the school?

Hoping to get to know some local mums!

Welcome back to Newy! I live in Thornton so not too far from where you will be.

I can't help you with the school situation, sorry but if its the estate i am thinking of, i have friends who have just built and moved into their new house in the same estate!

The only new estate I know of is near Irrawang HIGH school, but the primary school isn't too far from there anyway.
Grahamstown Primary School (also in Raymond Terrace) may be closer.
I've heard that Grahamstown is a really good school, but not much about Irrawang lately.

Enjoy the rain and green grass up here - its a bit different to Vic.

Thanks! We're moving up this coming Tuesday- can't wait! Will be staying with the outlaws in Denman to begin with, but will then try and get a place in Raymond Terrace/Medowie/Clarence Town area.

I've seen your thread about a meetup, I won't be there for the Monday one but hopefully I can come to the next one!
