Morning Guys

since about 3 or 4 am this morning i have had really really bad stomach pains and cramps, i havent been able to sleep from it because it has been that bad

im currently 33 weeks pregnant, but bubs is ok i think, still moving around and things like that. And i havent had any bleeding or dischange to suggest something is wrong there....

to make it worse in the last hour i have felt like i need to throw up but havent yet

what is going on???

we went out for dinner to a chinese restaurant last night and i was really careful with what i ate so i dont know if its a reation to that or if i should be rushing myself off to the doctor...

HELP!!

It could be braxton hicks? Perhaps call the midwives just in case...

:hugs: Could it be gastro or food poisoning?

Are the cramps constant or are they coming back in waves. Have you timed them? I guess one of the problems in later pregnancy is that its hard to tell where your actual stomach and other organs are, they have all been pushed aside and moved out of the way, so it can be difficult to work out where the pain is coming from. Thats what I found anyway. Sometimes early labour signs can be cramps. vomiting and such as your body tries to clear your stomach and bowels in preparation for labour.
:fingerscrossed: you are feeling better soon:hugs:

Try a hot water bottle and see if that helps. Have you got anything for heartburn? Couldn't hurt to try that, sometimes they help with stomach upsets.

Make sure you are keeping up your fluids as this will help to "flush" anything nasty out of your system. I think it might be a good idea to go to the doctors incase you do have food poisoning. It will set your mind at ease :hugs:

Hi Juzzy,
With my second child I felt very similar to you at 32 weeks.
I went in to labour!
They DR's said that I had gastro and that induced labour.
Go to DR's asap get it checked.
I hope you feel better soon.
Big :hugs:
Sarah

 Dont want to alarm you, hopefully you are feeling better now - but i recently had appendicitis (unless youve had yours out already?!) i let the pain go on for a week - big mistake. As you are 33 weeks i hope you just went to the gp - better to be safe.
