View Full Version : Conceiving after complete miscarriage
Hi,
I was just wondering if any of you ladies could give me some answers. I am feeling really down lately and desperately want to fall pregnant like the majority of you beautiful people. I was just wondering if anyone who has had a complete miscarriage with no d&c could tell me how long it took them to fall. My cycle has changed a bit about 2 extra days per cycle (32).
I havent posted for a while I have been trying to keep my mind on other things - I have just completed my Certificate III in childcare!!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou
Mand
I concieved the very next month after my complete m/c, but that was not meant to be and I had an incomplete m/c and needed a d&c.
It took me only 4 months to fall again after that m/c
Good luck, and congrats on your cert III, I have done the same course but then went on to study the Diploma in CC.
Hi, thanks Lunar for your reply. I miscarried in September and the bleeding went on for a month. I didn't get my period back till November 17. I was hoping Santa would bring me an angel, but I don't think so. I did a test today at day 30 but it was negitive:thumbsdown: .
So here's hoping the new year will bring me some joy.
I am hoping to start Diploma next year. Is it hard? How long did it take you. I am working in an ABC Centre.
Thanks
Mand

Hey Mand
Even though i never hada complete m/c i just wanted to give you some encouragement.
I was excatly the same way feeling really depressed, was even thinking i might go talk to the drs. Your not alone and completely normal, it happens to us all.
Btw congrats on certifcate 3, i have actually completed the diploma through TAFE, which took 2 years.
Good luck with TTC maybe you will have a nice suprise for the beginning of the new yr.
Hi,
Thanks girls for all your words of advice and encouragement - I'm feeling a little more Christmassie now!
Thanks Adria for your support, I'm hoping that a New Year present is on my way and will be testing about 16th January.
Was the diploma hard...eager to start worried It'll be too much for me. Not used to studying so much Ha Ha.
Adria don't know if I already have but I'll congratulate you again on your pregnancy.
Have a great 07
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and also an eventful New Year. :xmas: :reindeer: :tree:

Hi,
Relatively new to posting on this site, so bear with me. Just wanted to give you some words of encouragement. I m/c in jan then m/c in june this year. good news for us is though that after completely giving up on having kids altogether, we fell pregnant just one month after our last misscarriage. We are now expecting a little girl, and we take each day as it comes. I just figure things like this happen for a good reason. Not a day goes by that i will ever be able to forget the experience of a m/c but it does get alot easier.
hope you have a merry christmas and cheers to a wonderful new year. fingers crossed that you have a fantastic 2007 year and good luck with conceiving.
:) Kim
m/c jan 06
m/c june 06
I had a complete miscarriage between my first 2 children. I had a period 5 weeks later and then conceived on my next cycle. My daughter is nearly 3 now.
I hope you get a BFP soon. The worst thing is the waiting and there's nothing you can do to speed up the process. Miscarriage is very common and hopefully it was just a one off and you'll conceive easily next time!
Take care. Look after yourself. And congrats on finishing your course!

I have only just m/c, started 2 days before christmas. I havent been back to fs to check that it was complete, :fingerscrossed: that it is though. I am now wondering how soon also before I can try again. I have to do ivf so I,m not sure if I have to wait longer.
