who's had spotting?

Im just curious to know if anyone else has had any spotting in their pregnancy and what the outcome was??

Ive had a little bit of on and off spotting since Tuesday and im just curious to know if anyone else has gone through the same thing?

I had exactly what you are describing and 5 weeks I got worried and the doctor said 80% of pregnancy's with early spotting go on to be healthy babies it is only implantation bleeding if it is spotting.
I had a beautiful 10lb boy.

Unfortunately, I had spotting early on in my last pregnancy (it was basically like brown stuff when I wiped). That lasted for about four or five days before the proper bleeding started and I m/c at about five weeks. Some women bleed and everything is fine. But some women bleed and it means something is not fine. The only way to know for sure is to get yourself checked out. :fingerscrossed: everything works out OK for you.

I am 6 wks today - I spotted at 4wks+1day - only about 4 drops - today at 6 wks I notice my mucus was ever so slightly stained - has stopped though...

spewed this afternoon:barf: - good sign! still feel nauseas...

My grandma says :idea: spotting is a boy

I've carried 3 girls - did not spot on any... so this pregnancy is very different - :fingerscrossed: for us both:hugs:

yeh mines just stained mucus too not really blood (tmi) and i'll go a day without it and then i'll have it for a day so im trying not to worry to much theres not all that much i can do about it if its already happening. and i think its starting to pass :fingerscrossed: this is also around the time i would have had AF so the dr's think that could be a reason for it too cuz my hormone levels are nice and high (hcg 10,800 as of 12/12) and bubs seemed ok on u/s so i just need to relax,i have to work today and them im resting for a few days

I have had no spotting so far (and I hope it stays that way!) but I had spotting with my DS when I was 6 week pregnant and he turned out fine, appart from terrible morning sickness for 4 mths I had a perfectly fine pregnancy. He is now a happy, healthy 6 year old.

everyone seems to have there spotting at 6 weeks for some reason (i am 6 weeks also) i wonder why that is?

Yep I've had spotting with all 3 of my pregnacies.
DD1 was at about 12 weeks, DD2 was at about 6 weeks and DS1 was at about 18 weeks.
With DS1 it was a blood clot or something and it reabsorbed back into the placenta.

I had spotting with DS at 10 weeks it was quite heavy but only lasted a day I was told somtimes a bit of the placenta breaks away and can cause the bleeding once the clot passed the bleeding stoped. He was a full term 4kg baby so a happy ending.
But with my last preg I started spotting & then MC at 10 weeks so not a happy ending that was in June.
I am now 19 weeks preg again and no spotting at all this time around :fingerscrossed: it stayes that way and I get another happy ending.

Hi everyone

I had a spotting saturday night (5 week exactly), I just noticed a little bit of blood on my knickers which was dry (sorry TMI) but nothing when I wiped and nothing ever since!

It was a bit scairy but :fingerscrossed: that will be the last of it

I had a serious bleed with DD when I was 7 weeks. Oby checked my out and found I had a very sensitive cervix. Even following a pap smear I'd bleed so DH was told to be "gentle" or find other things to do for the next 7 months. Even though it was my cervix, my oby does not like ANY bleeding in pregnancy.

I then went on to have two m/c's which started like Chicken said.

Who knows?? The only way to really be sure is to get your bloods done every second day for a while. See that the HCG is doubling as it should. If it doesn't then that is a sign that all is not well.
