Anyone know how I can de-stench the area where I keep the kitty litter tray???
It's in the bathroom and every time I go in there it makes me wanna :barf: ....
It gets changed daily, and I've even resorted to scooping the "smellies" out when she does them, but poooooeeeey, it reeks!
I feed her good quality food so it's not her diet.
I've put in an air-freshener thingy, burnt incense, sprayed air freshener, but still, it pongs.
Please help!!

I found the clay kind of litter (not sure what it actually is?) smelt way worse than the paper pellets ('breeders choice' brand) that we now use. I have no problems and only scoop out the smellies every day and change completely, weekly. It's horrible when they've only just done a no.2 though! :barf:

we also use the breeders choice kitty litter (recycled paper) and it doesnt smell at all.
I get it from the local pet shop for about $20 for a huge bag   highly reccomended

When we had a cat, we used one of those litter boxes with a cover over the top (looks like a little house) and we used the crystels as well.. Didn't smell at all.. I highly recommend the litter box with lid, it also stops them trowing the litter out of the box when they dig
