Welcome aboard if you can hear me..and if your not male..my apologies.

Well a little about me I'm 30 and mums 27 we got 3 kids allready Jay 9/12/99, Lee 25/8/01 and my baby girl :) Nikita 23/6/05...... My two boys were both in SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) when they where born for 2 weeks. Jay was 5 weeks early and didn't feed properly Jaundice etc but Lee was the sickest with Meconium Aspiration Syndrome I had to feed him with tubes and watch him on a ventilator for a week. Hardest days of my life thinking my wee man wouldn't make it..... Now they are both fine with no long term effects just some asthma. All 3 labours where between 3 and 1 hour getting quicker each time.... My baby girls great sleeps through the night from 3 weeks........ number 4's on the way already I must be the most fertile man in Ireland !

Hi Kimmy my first son Jay was born just ten days before Jakob and my daughter just 3 months after Chloe, not forgeting Lee inbetween in Aug 01 ! thanks kb if the aussie lingo gets me stopped maybe it'll help ! I love the scottish really nice people .....
If you need me to email the doc send me your email through private messaging. If you dont know how to do that ask: and Yee shall receive.
I am surrounded by Canadians and the doc helps them navigate my english.
Or should I say "Australian".
hey is all this baby making cause you and your dw are trying to keep warm with all that cold weather over there :) not that i can talk, i have 4 kids too, so whats my excuse lol
isnt it a bit chilly for beer drinking???
What about the pommies my partner's dad is a pommy prat... pretty scary about the bird flu hay.
Irish Dad
29-10-2005, 11:49
sorry Kim whats a Pommie ? and yes its a good way to keep warm, with my daughter sleeping through the night its a novelty I didn;t have when my 2 boys, 4 and 5 were babies !
Pommy=English person (From the U.K)
sorry i meant English, It's hot up here that's probable why i only have the two kids. :D hahaha
Irish Dad
29-10-2005, 11:58
Oh I'm not English, I'm British or Irish whatever you want but not English ! I just passed my bedroom and my 3 yearold son has taken up residence in my bed, its 3 am and I got nowhere to sleep, what to do !
Have you a cosy fire to curl up infront of....?
isnt it a bit chilly for beer drinking???
They drink it warm, so I've heard
Useless Trivia! The word "Pom" stems from POHM, which is what was written on the back on the convicts 'uniforms' when they visited Aussie shores.
POHM stands for Prisoner of Her (actually, his maybe..??) Majesty
Irish Dad
29-10-2005, 12:08
No cosy fire I'm at the top of a 3 storey house at the minute and its bloody freezing ! Cold beer in my hand doesn't help !

thanks for the info seekret, i've never been a convict yet so i wouldn't know but if I get attacked in the thread and have to defend myself i may become one !make my beer a cold one please !
:D Wow i didn't now that seekrit I'll have to talk to the father in law about that thank makes a good conversation. Id good luck trying to get warm maybe put a pot of tea instead of a freezing beer.
get some rum into ya!!! :D

Hi Maxie,Puk,Jen..Kim and all the rest. I'm from Belfast Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, well my plane landed there for 20 mins to collect more passengers on the way to Glastonbury festival in 1999, if that counts. Jen my grans from Bangor and I know Whitehead. Snowmen are great but we only get a few days a year when theres enough snow to make them. Global warming has started to turn local chickens into horses and my babies just woke up....6am mums getting a sleepin so I'll finish later.. bye
Hey Colin - When do you sleep??? Wow i wish my hubby would let me sleep in !!
Jen
Hello Irish Dad!!
I missed your entrance to the world of Bubhub yesterday but am very happy to meet you. I am expecting baby #1 sometime in late April or early May next year. Husband and I are very excited.
Look forward to seeing you around the place and nice work letting mum sleep in! :)
Cheers.

Hi again Jen I get plenty of sleep cause my baby lets me, it wasn't that way with the other 2 though. With Lee we were awake for the first 4 months so I know how frustrating it can be. Me and Jo (my gf) take it in turns to get a sleepin at the weekend, my turns Sat and hers Sun and Tomorrow I'm off for Haloween so shes letting me sleep till 9am so I have some time on the pc. Last night I went to sleep when the two boys went to bed at 7, they go to sleep at that time every night. Nikita went to sleep then also and the boys ended up sleeping in bed with me and mum in their room rather than wake me to move them. Nikita woke at 3.30 for a bottle and was asleep 15 mins later, that was her till 7 am, which was actually 6 as the clocks went back !! I think my new baby (that feels weird as I got a new baby allready) is due about the same time as your first cosmic so we got something in common ! Good luck and congradulations......
I've been to the Isle of Man, well my plane landed there for 20 mins to collect more passengers on the way to Glastonbury festival in 1999, if that counts
That would have been plenty of time to do the Island justice!! :D
Ooh start of winter for you, what times it getting dark - 4pm?? My family hate this time of year, I used to quite like it all snuggled up by 5pm for the night!! Yep I'm a bit of a winter chick, havent quite got used to this Ozzie sunshine yet
Have a great Haloween

Hi Manxie, its 11.35 pm here, cold dark wet and miserable. To top it all off my heads pickled with the new baby, not the one asleep in the cot the one growing in mummies tummy in the bed next to her. I wish we had some idea when shes due.........
So is you're five year old in school or do they do things differently over there?Jakob's going to year 1 next & his pretty excited about it too. :)
Irish Dad
31-10-2005, 23:47
yes Jays in school, his second year and he loves it. He even enjoys his homework and gives me sums to do ! His wee brother is in the nursery at the same school and starts P1 next September. But they are both off for a week for halloween and the house is mayhem. I feel like a referee and babys not too happy today into the bargain. Tomorrow mummy goes to the doctor to try and find out when shes due, we reakon shes between 5 and 13 weeks :D I love kids and its just a shock to have another on the way as its so soon after my baby....
His wee brother ...........pmsl you sound like my mum
How did everything go with the Doc's?
cheers Jen

I'll let you know Jen as soon as I find out, the appointments tomorrow morning and I've apptitude tests for a new job so its gonna be a busy day !
Hi
Nice weather! Good luck with the test and dating the pregnancy, must be a bit of a shock for you both.
Did you do anything fun for Haloween, some kids knocked a my door but I was busy bathing Lucy, they were yelling at me "We know your in there" and I was yelling back "I know you Know but the babys in the bath sorry". Not sure what my "trick was" havent been out the house yet, probably find flat tyres on the car.
Ooh youve got bonfire night comming up soon, they dont do that here, I used to love it as a kid.
Good luck
Irish Dad
01-11-2005, 08:32
Hi Manxie, all I can hear is bang, bang whistle of fireworks for the last 4 hours and its 10pm now, starting to **** me off to be honest ! I left the Tv on for the dog so as not to scare her, poor Rotty. But the kids are all still asleep, we went to a fancy dress party at the kids school, Jay was Batman and Lee was a Skeleton. In Northern Ireland we don't really do Bonfire Night, only on the mainland, here we light fires on 11th July instead for different reasons. At least tomorrow we'll have a better idea of when the babies due, yeah we're shocked but not as much as everyone else is gonna be !! But hey thats there problem I'm well happy just head mangled a bit getting used to the idea ! As far as I can see the doctor can't tell that much from a feel of the tummy can she ?, it takes a scan surely to give any real ideas of the est due date. Time for sleep soon I gotta be up early !
Irish Dad
01-11-2005, 08:33
Heres a hand pregnancy date calculator I was looking at there for anyone interested http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/923526833.html
Hi
Get some sleep :D ! The only way to date it unless you've an idea of when you did the deed (!) , is by ultrasound, you can get an early 12 week one here not sure when you get them there. Suppose all GP can really do is blood test to confirm that you DF is deffo pregnant.
Someone elses fireworks are always crap to listen to!! I remember when I lived in the UK and it was Divali (sp!) Hindu I think celebration. Well they've got the LOUDEST fireworks you've ever heard and it goes on for a week. In the end my DH just stood in the middle of the garden and Screamed will you please just shut up! We lived in the middle of a terrace! That was the end of it after that.
What job are you going for?
Irish Dad
01-11-2005, 08:51
Umm :o could be anytime from 16 weeks ago then I guess :D Gp did the test last week and we did another 2 just to be extra sure ! So who knows when babys due .... my babies sleeping downstairs feels weird saying baby as in talking about another !!!! At the minute I'm a cnc machinest making parts for buildings mainly out of aluminium and stainless steel. I used to make planes, helicopters and missiles for a Canadian company for 7 years called Bombardier Aerospace, but I got paid off after 911 when people stopped flying, thats who I'm testing for again. Now I'm off to sleep take care and have a nice day 11pm here...
Hi ID, welcome. Sorry I missed out on all the fun. Kevingbudgie was having a good time by the looks of it.
I live in Queensland Australia, have six kids, 2 are mine, 4 inherited, a stay at home husband, a rotty called Daisy and a mini van to get everyone around.
Don't let the girls scare you off, they're just excited, not only do we have a man on our forum but also a man from a county to which most of us have never, nor probably will ever go. You could change your bubhub name to "International Man of Mystery and Fertility"...
OMG when do they start school there? So how is the wife doing? my partner is 31 & he doesn't really want any more kids but i still do, i think one more would be nice even though when i was in labour with Chloe i said that i don't want any more but you now how that goes. :)

Hi there Maghan, another person with kids and a Rotty ! I love mine shes the kids best friend and I'd entertain anyone to steal them from the garden !! Kimmy kids start school at 5 here, we found out today that mummys between 8 and 10 weeks but no more than 12 ! Find out more in next few weeks when she gets a scan, either way it'll be here before Nikita's first birthday if not on it :p
Hi ID,
That's great news about the new baby, at least they wont be born in the same year!
We love our Rotty too, she is so loving with the kids, they can do anything to her and she just sits there and takes it, but I certainly would challenge anyone to try and get into our yard and take them too, she is very protective.
Keep us all posted with the trials and tribulations of a pregnancy in your little one's first year.
That's great, I would love to have a dog but we're not allowed one in this house little mans been asking for one too & it makes me feel so bad that we cant get one for him. all we have is a bird that doesn't like kids... :) good luck with every thing ID hope all goes well for you guys.... :D

What age is your Rotty Maghan ? Charlies (Rotty) 2 and a half and shes just like another kid and an inside dog, she hears our gate before its even opened and even saved the kids footballs from being stolen by some drunk kids at 1.30 am the other day by barking and I caught them in the act ! I was on bub hub at the time and let a shout out the window just in time !! Mums really tired at the min, feels like someones drained all her energy so shes gone to bed at 8.30 pm the last few nights, I'm waiting for the water to cool at the min till I make bottles as we speak, baby was bf for 8 weeks but purely bottle now, but for a while she'd take either including expressed without a problem. She may look like a mini sumo wrestler but shes gorgeous, healthy and sleeps like a log so I couldn't be happier with her progress. I'm thinking about getting the snip cause we think 4's enough, does anyone think thats a good idea ? We're both still a bit worried about how hard its gonna be having another baby so soon but don't regret it, we both knew what we were doing and the risks we took but we both find condoms about as exciting as getting hit on the head with a baseball bat !! Why can't you get a dog in your house Kimmy ? I've always had them and our boys would be lost without theirs, my 3 year old even said 'Daddy I want to go to heaven now to be with Cid' thats his last dog ! It made me feel like crying, its funny how they think... Well its time to make more bottles and clean the mess left from another day of rioting in my house I hope alls well with everyone and I'll keeps you posted with the more accurate due date as and when I find out !!! :)

I'm going to bed soon, bottles are made and kids are tucked up in bed. Its 10.05 pm now here ! I think you're probably about 10 hours ahead ? I know the song, heres the lyrics for anyone whos interested :) :)
Elton John 'Nikita'
Hey Nikita is it cold
In your little corner of the world
You could roll around the globe
And never find a warmer soul to know
Oh I saw you by the wall
Ten of your tin soldiers in a row
With eyes that looked like ice on fire
The human heart a captive in the snow
Oh Nikita You will never know anything about my home
I'll never know how good it feels to hold you
Nikita I need you so
Oh Nikita is the other side of any given line in time
Counting ten tin soldiers in a row
Oh no, Nikita you'll never know
Do you ever dream of me
Do you ever see the letters that I write
When you look up through the wire
Nikita do you count the stars at night
And if there comes a time
Guns and gates no longer hold you in
And if you're free to make a choice
Just look towards the west and find a friend :)

You mean am I think, anyhows its time to sleep, if I leave it any later to go to bed my 4 year old will have stolen my space in the bed ! Goodmorning to you and goodnight from me ! Sweet Dreams and you all have a nice day from Ireland ;)
Hi ID, Daisy (our Rotty) is nearly 18 months and she is one of the kids. She's such a lovely dog and very much an inside pet! The cats aren't too pleased with that idea though.
My DS was looking up at the roof the other day and I asked him what he was doing and he said he was looking for "Buster" and "Felix" (our other dogs that went to heaven)! He still crys about them and they've been gone for nearly 2 years.
Don't ask me about having the snip, I have no idea, I keep thinking it would be wise, but can't quite make my DH do it, tough decision, phew!
Hi jay,lee&nikita'sdad,
congrats on the bub on the way! As well as all the others :) Charlie sounds adorable too. I had a rotty for a little while, but the place I was renting had been infected with a disease that lives in the ground, and they didn't let me know when I got the pup, so I only had him for a few days :(
Sorry, hearing people talking about rotties always gets to me!
Hope that everything is going well over there for you - did you hear back about the job yet? Good luck with it!
Take care!
Hi there ID we're not allowed a dog here because we rent at the moment & the real estate wont let us have one bit of a bummer hay. but we plane on moving soon so hopefully in the near future ill be able to get him one i think Chloe would love one as well cause she just starts giggling when ever she sees a small animals. My DP & i decided that he would get the snip after Chloe & he was cool with that but then i decided that i wanted another one so its been put on hold for now. Jakob is being naughties all the time theses days i don't now why but it starting to get to me but i guess his just trying to get some attention the poor little guy & now that Chloe is on the move shes into every thing. But i love them with all my heart so its all worth it isn't it.... :D
Hey ID..will post you the doc if your email finds you.
Need to wait till Tue though as the doc, the laptop and the DH are all arriving together then.
I dont have that doc on this old motherboard!!
Knew you'd need it sooner or later!! My Canadian firends study it to get around the Oz speak...
Regards,

Don't worry I'm not going to rip into you you're right you guys will need some extra cash with another baby on the way but i think everyone does hay..Well all is good here at the moment Chloe is into every thing though & Jakob is being a buthead but i guess that's normal these day.

Jay and Lee were fighting all day long and I'd hate to be my neighbour with the noise but to hear my kids saying 'Daddy I love you' at least once every few hours make it all worth it :D

I agree with everyone how addictive bubhub is, my kids are the most important thing to me that I'm ever gonna have and being a dad is what I wanna be, so if theres anyone that can give me any advice that will make me a better parent I'm willing to listen. If I act on it or not is an other matter !
Yeah bubhub is very addictive isn't it i am always on here, so whats happening over there? I just found out that Chloe loves boxes (like all kids do) she is sitting in one at the moment & having a ball. so c-mas isn't far away i wonder how Chloe is going to be meeting Santa, Jakob was scared of the big jolly fat man for ages lol hahaha.. :p

Hi Kimmy, over here its cold and theres rain, rain and more rain, far too much rain. I had a close miss with a lorry on the way to work the other morning ended up in a hedge, sore leg and very lucky :) Who said motorbikes were dangerous !! Mums very tired and we're still waiting for a scan date to get more accurate due date but we think early June ! My boys love boxs also, especially big ones they can climb into, my 5 year old is learning to write in school and he wrote 'To the moon' on his big box and drawed a pic of a stamp ..... I doubt it'll get there. Wer'e going to the states for Xmas to visit my brother who married a girl he met on the net last year, he lives in Boston and wer'e hoping for loads a snow, we're spending 3 days there and flying to Palm Beach to stay with his Father In Law and get some sun, then up Orlando for a few days to Disney Land and back to Boston for the New Year, the kids havn't flew before and are really looking forward to it. But I'm not sure how we'll entertain them on the plane.... Its gonna be quite an adventure :) My youngest wouldn't sit on Santas knee I think hes got a white beard phobia.. who knows. Is it warm you side these days ?
Top o' the mornin' to ya, Irish dad!
Your holiday sounds fabulous!! And what a story - marrying a girl off the net! Would love to hear more about that.
Hey, I was just wondering if you have gone and met some of the other dads here. There are a couple (not many!) and I think they have their own thread..?
It's about 10am here (Sydney time) and today is very rainy!! Still warm though, and nice for the gardens. There has been a bit of flash flooding in some parts of Oz the past few days - people losing their homes etc. Nasty stuff!
Catch you later!

Thats me case anyones wondering, we told our parents about the new baby and mine were over the moon, but my gf's went crazy and really upset her so I'm not happy with them. Kimmy the tirps not costing us much as we're staying with family and my mum paid most of it for a present for the next few xmas's and my bdays till I'm like 80 so we were lucky that way. You guys should feel guilty getting all the sun, in Belfast theres only rain these days and thats not fair. My babys so chubby shes got no neck :) Cleaning under her chin is a real mission because of the rolls of skin ! But hey shes still most gorgeous baby on hubbub !!! :D

Sorry i missed all the fun.
I am still around but haven't had much spare time recently - busy work, moving, rennovations, kids - you know the drill. I haven't been eaten alive - always felt welcome here.
Love to chat but Alexa has just finished breakfast and needs a cuddle. Jasmine will be up before to long.

Hello Graeme and all the girls ! :) Another guy on the thread, I thought I'd never see the day. Its 10 pm here and I've just put Nikita in her cot and mummys asleep and the boys have been in bed from 6.30pm, they always go to bed then its great. Half 6 comes early and they don't sleep any longer if they go to bed later as we've tried ! So its time for me to finish a bottle of wine :D and download some games and movies for the kids. They've requested 'Polar Bear Express' so hopefully it'll be downloaded for them to watch in the morning. What age are your girls Graeme I forgot ? And hows the house at the bottom of the garden going ? Here its really cold and gale force winds, I normally work in a factory but was up scaffolding all day in the wind and rain, not fun !! Yeah Kim it was a crazy Christmas, my gf and her parents have fallen out over the new baby, they are total hypocrits as they never look after our kids and constantly shout at them, today my gf thew them out of our house afer a big arguement. We love our kids and they're well looked after so I don't see what her problem is :( , so what we're not married but we've been together 11 years so we've lasted longer than many married couples !! So hows all yous keeping and anyone new feel free to join the chat ! ;)
Hi there Greame it's nice to see another guy on here, so how is every thing going with thwe kids & the house & every thing?
ID Gerald & i are not married either & we've been togerther for 8 years so i now how you feel there, Everyone is alway;s saying when are you two getting married & all we say it when we do. But it really ****es me off hearing it all the time. so how are the kid's doing & buby in tummy? how is Nikita doing with the teething?

The boys are doing great, just fighting all the time and best friends at the same time. Reminds me of the way I was with my brothers as a child... crazy. I got an older and a younger brother so I was baby in the midddle ! Nikitas def teething, but I put her to sleep 2 hours ago and shes still asleep, its 12am now. Joes (Joanne aka Mum) feeling really sick all day every days these days so she thinks its another boy as shes was rarely sickly with Nikita but who knows, wer'e not really sure what we'd like I'd honestly be happy for either as I have both allready ! But it'd be nice to have only one princess ! Apart from mummy that is :) Its 2 weeks since mummy was told by the doctor that they would contact the the maternity hospital so we could get a scan and we heard nothing yet. So today we called to see what was happening and they never got a fax or know anything about us waiting for an appointment, we're well ****ed off and just as we were about to get it sorted after waiting 10 mins on the mobile our credit ran out ! Baby could be 16 weeks or 10 weeks we just wanna know :)
Oh that must of really gotten on your nerves i now you've been waiting to find out for a bit now, poor Joanne she must be getting frustrated.
Yeah Chloe is teething as well she is constantly up set & always wants mummy at the moment, She's having a sleep right now & it's 12:10 midday here.
Well i hope every thing turn out for you guys good luck. :D

Nikitas still very unsettled and even woke up in the night a few times, now that was a shock as shes slept through since about 3 weeks :) I'm still waiting for word on the job I applied for making planes in the place I used to work in and have also applied to be a Firefighter !! I applied once before and got through all the training to interview and got the date wrong and missed the interview, biggest **** up of my life :( I really hope I get it as its a proper career and good cash !! Don't tell me its sunny today again in Aus ! Rain here and cold same old story :(

Hi ID good luck with the scan tomorrow have fun seeing little bub for the first time gotta love those moments. Yay drinking all that water & trying to hold it in so much fun (not)...... :p
So how is Nikita going with the teething? Chloe still has no teeth yet but man is she grumpy all the time poor little sweet heart...
Jakob started crying about big school today saying that he doesn't want to go & he wants to stay in preschool. :(
Anyway so how is everything going with you guys? i haven't been able to write the last couple of days because our monitor had broke so we had to get a new one (pain in the bum) :D

Hello Kim, yeah I can't wait till the scan tomorrow :) , very exciting and a wee bit scared hoping alls well, but thats normal I guess. Its 10.30 pm now and alls quiet. Nikita's no teeth yet but I think I can feel some trying to break through the bottom of her gums. Shes also been a bit grumpy  but not so bad today. Poor Jakob it must be very scary for the wee man. Is there other kids in his preschool going into the same big school as him ? Lee goes to a preschool at the same school building hes going into next year and his brother is allready at so he will be going to big school next door with the same friends hes made this year so I think that helps. Mummy's still really sick so I've been starting work late most days so I can give the kids breakfast and stuff to try and help but she still doesn't get a chance to stop though the day as you can imagine. So hows the giving up smoking doing ? I smoke the occasional funny ciggie but havn't for 3 weeks so I know what its like. But thats the start of another thread I guess  ! Its all about willpower and theres a really good book my mate read that helped him brake the habit, hes a very sucessfull poker player who gave up his job and has travelled the world on free trips he won playing online (my mate this is) he used to smoke 50 a day and now smokes none ! I'll find the name of it if you like... Well I better go now as its time to crack open a beer, have a nice day and take care :D .... Colin
Hi there ID.
Good luck with the scan tomorrow and I hope mum starts to feel better soon. :)
Keep us posted.
Good luck for the scan I hope all went well!
Hi there Colin how did the scan go? i hope everything is alright...
Yeah the quiting smoking, well i haven't had 1 in like 5 mths so i guess that's good but i still crave for 1 every now & then....
Gerald still smoke though so some times its really hard.
So YAY Nikita's getting her first tooth it so cool when they finally get it...
There is still no sign of any toothie pegs in Chloe's mouth so i don't now what is happening yet
Jakob's school is also all in one so year 1 is just next door & yeah his got his best friend with him so he should be fine after a couple of days i hope..
Well i hope everything turns out for you guys good luck mate... :D

Hi there, well the scan went fine and baby wasn't as far on as we thought, only 8 weeks and due approx 2nd July 2006, thats the exact date that Nikita was due :D We saw the little heartbeat and the midwife laughed when we told her our daughter was 20 weeks ! Then we told her about the two boys also and she apologised for laughing it was quite funny !
That's great! Congrats! It's always amazing to see the heart beating for the first time isn't it!
Well CONGRATULATIONS that's great.... :D
i love hearing the heart beat its so cool & i'm glad to hear everything is good.
Nikita's b,day hay how weird is that wouldn't that be funny to have both b,day's on the one day....Yay.
So how is everyone going over there? god it was hot here today stupid weather doesn't now what its going to do. :p

Hi Kim, man am I glad to sit down its been a terrible evening. Nikitas not a happy girl poor baby and Jays vomited  all over the boys newly changed beds, (theres not much I hate more in life than that smell), we moved their two beds together as theres as argument every night as to whos turn it is for me to lie beside. So now I can lie in the middle and they can both see the picture when I read their story :) ! Well I had yet another interview yesterday and got offered a job, only problem is its less money for 3 months but better hours Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm, so I don't know what to do, now I work 8-5. After 3 months the cash is the same but better benefits and a contract which I don't have now and more overtime if you need extra cash some weeks. Not thats theres ever a week that we don't need extra cash  The babys due on the same date that Nikita was due on (2 July), but not Nikitas BDay 23 June, she was induced because her labours are so fast only an hour or so each time and the two boys both near didn't make it ! Hey give us guys some sun, only 5 weeks and I'l be in Palm Beach Florida, really looking forward to the trip. Whats new your side ? :D
Sure I'd love to give you guy some sun cause i hate this heat it horrible & sticky...
So how is the little man doing today i hope he feels better then last night poor little guy. :(
Jakob got a nose bleed the other day he gets bad nose bleeds some times which freak's me out every time it happens it scar's the s.... out of me....
I've got some cream to put in his nose so it should be all good soon.. ;)
Chloe still got no toothy peg yet but her gum's are getting a whitish look to them so i hope we have one soon.
How how is the pregnancy going is she feeling any better yet?
Gerald my DP is losing his hair so when i go to bed i cant lay down cause it's every where But he got me to shave his head the other day he figgerd since his losing it he may as well shave it.
Well I'll catch ya latter & good luck with every thing. :D
I.D..Did you get the slang doc??
Are you coping with the strange language??
O's mom
Hi all
Congratulations on the scan Colin, and I hope your day got better. What are you doing about the job offer. It's tricky when it's better hours/conditions but less money.
Jasmine and Alexa are much better although Alexa still has a bit of a cough. Mum and
Dad's house is not all joined up and ready for the next stage. We now have the foundations for our extensions and the frames will start going up this week (we hope).
I noticed the time some of your kids get to bed pretty early. I'm jealous. Jasmine (nearly 5) normally goes to bed at around 8 (maybe a bit earlier or later) and Alexa (2) goes to be normally between 9 and 9.30. With just Jas, it was fine because she sleeps in until 8 or later. Unfortunately Alexa wakes up anywhere from 6. Normally it's between 6 and 7, but we get an occassional sleep in until 8.
Love to join in the chat more, but with extentions and a couple of other things, I'm finding it hard to make the time to get on line. I should get to bed very soon.
I enjoy catching up when I make it on line.
I'm gald we are heading into summer, not winter!!
Regards
Graeme
Hi again
Hope you noticed that I didn't mention the Rugby match in Dublin. I thought it would be inappropriate.
But must mention Oz getting into the World Cup (football). I'm not a huge fan, but I'm glad I watched it.
Graeme
Hey Graeme wasn't that great with the world cup I'm not a big fan or any thing but DP was running up & down the hallway screaming about it.
Gosh you sound Bessy lately good luck with it all... :D
Hi Kimmy,
I'm not always busy. I make sure I have time with the kids and so I relax with them. That means when they get to bed (or before they get up like now) I have lots I want to cram in.
So really life is pretty good. :)
How does react to his nose bleeds. Jaz has only had one or two, but they really freaked her out. God luck with starting school. Jaz also starts next year. Fortunately she is very excited about it - it will be interesting to see what happens when the reality of it kicks in.
Regards
Graeme
Wow!! The boys are infiltrating the forum!!
Hurrah!!

Yeah Jakob's nose bleeds seem to have stopped for now so all is well....

Umm where do I start, I've had a s*** day but after catching up on the thread I have a smile on my face allready :) ! I still have 8 bottles to make and the kitchen to clean but I'm drunk now so what the hell :D I may as well be here, its 11 pm and theres plenty of time for all that later. The water still has to cool anyhows. Jay was off school again today Kim, still sick he must have some kind of bug, maybe a hangover or something, or is that what I'm gonna have tomorrow ! Nikita's just a grump with big rosey cheeks and a sad puppy face, but still my princess.... Still no toothy yet but they are coming for sure. Nose bleeds are real scary I only ever got one once when I was fighting years back and thought I was gonna die. Not fun, well maybe for the other guy. Joes still feeling very sick and tired and drained I hope it passes soon. I shave my head anyway so wouldn't know what its like to have hair !
I didn't get the doc kb but thanks for sending ;) , and yes I'm still confuddled a bit with the lingo, I'll check the email again. I have refereed a few boxing matches in the past though so if you girls need a mentor let me know and I'd bve glad to oblidge sp?
Yes Graeme my boys go to sleep at 6.30pm every night and its great I moved their beds together and they love it now after the initial denial !
Are you male or female Mrs Grufff the lingo has me lost, I'm glad the nose bleeds are finished Kim and I hope all in Aus is happy. Irelands cold, in fact today was very cold, today I had to ride the motorbike to work in very icy conditions and then work up scaffolding all day, very dangerous and cold, I think I'm taking the new job but less money and another baby scares me  ! What a crack up that was i only had two wild turkeys yesterday & i was off my face i not much of a drinker shame shame how embarrassing :o
So Colin riding a motor bike in that weather man that must be pretty scary hay.
Gerald wants to get one but I don't really like them for my father died on one a long time ago when i was about 4 but that's another story for another time.
Sorry to hear that your little man is still sick i hope he gets better soon & Nikita being a grumpy bum you must be having fun with both of them.
I toke Chloe to the doc yesterday & she apparently is not teething so i don't now why she's been such a grump lately then?????
Well I'm glad Kevinbudgie & i made you laugh after such a sh...... day lol... :D
Well I'm glad Kevinbudgie & i made you laugh after such a sh...... day lol... :D

Hello again, you'll be avoiding the wild turkeys in future I guess :D ! I better watch what I type I don't want our cosy chats to be ended if they are felt to be inappropriate the thread may get closed. Yeah motorbikes are dangerous but I have no car license so its my only form of transport and today was icy again and I saw a few crashes, sorry to hear about your father I also had a few friends die on them its very sad  . Jays better now must have been some kind of bug I guess hows Chloe, feeling better and not so grumpy these days I hope. I gave in my notice today and start the new job next week  , I'm not sure I made the right choice but deep down I feel I have so I'm sticking to it. If it means more time with my kids I can live with less money, after 3 months the pay goes up and thats not too long a time. I'm tired after staying up late last night and gonna go to sleep now. I hope all well in Aus and I'll catch up with you guys later. :)
ID, did they close your drugs thread? Did I miss something? I noticed there is a new 'acceptable' drugs thread now but I didn't know what happened to the original one..
C.
Yeah i noticed that you thread was closed last night when i tried to make a reply to something but i don't remember what it was now...
I will never touch wild turkey ever again i promise lol hehehe.
So how have you been Colin??? I'm glad to hear that you toke that job i think it will all be worth the change in the long run...
Well Gerald has just gotten back from picking up Jakob from school & it's raining again so his pretty happy cause he likes playing in the rain not that i let him do it very often.
Yes Chloe is still being a grump & even though the doc said she is not teething i still think she is cause when i looked in her mouth yesterday i swear i seen white at the bottom of her gums so i don't now whats going on in there
Anyway how is the Mrs & the wee ones (as you call them)doing??? lol. :D
Well enjoy your beer tonight if you have one & have one for me too. ;)

I think Boobtish must have decided kids should be keep in the dark about drugs. Either way I pm'd her my final post and asked her to post it for me to clarify my stance on the topic. She declined to post it or replay to my pm. Makes me feel why do I bother. So I'll post it here myself.
DRUGS
This is clearly a very touchy subject and Im not surprised the wide range of opinions it has brought across. Not once did I intend to start a contest of any kind shape or form and the suggestion that I did makes me more sad than angry  . The welfare of children is very important to me and the main reason why I frequent this site and I still feel that kids need to be educated early in life about the dangers of drugs and apologize if anyone took it as me glamourising the use of them in any way. Sure my initial posting could have been taken that way but you can look at most things from different angles  . Personally to take the 'just leave it at that attitude  ' will do little to improve the sad situation and damage that drugs bring to society overall. Thanks for everybodys comments sorry to those who are offended by this topic. :) Colin
I think Boobtish must have decided kids should be keep in the dark about drugs.

Hi Kimmy, only got round to replying now. I'm doing not bad, gave my notice in yesterday  and Jay had his parent teacher meeting today and hes doing great all round so we're well chuffed :D . Joes still feeling really sick all day not just the mornings I hope it'll pass soon :( and her parents havn't spoken to her for a few weeks since she told them she was pregnant again. But my parents are being really great bringing the kids to school and stuff and I have been going into work late as it doesn't matter what my boss says now that I'm leaving. I'm still waiting for word back from the fire service I hope that works out. Poor Chloe Nikitas a happy baby last few days i hate when she seems to be in pain. I took the kids to the park and it was so cold they started crying their hand were freezing, I was expected to carry them both their two bikes and push the pram, the joys of being daddy but I wouldn't have it any other way.
ID..You must be a popular boy...you need to clear your letter box...you have max of 20..and its full up!!

Hey you're so lucky living near such amazing landscape :) The waterfall looks out of this world, I'll take some pics tomorrow of the goings on and email them to your hubby if he likes.... Have a nice day :)
Whoops...still no hoovering. Yes its nice to be so close to a waterfall and a lovely walk up there...though I don't go so often at the moment because its on the tourist hit list( which spells disaster in Japan!!) to see the turning of the leaves. G gets 'Promenade rage' going up there.
But he's bigger and uglier than I am and uses that elbow like he would on the soccer field!!
NOW!! Off to hoover: This time for sure!!
O's mom.

Hi Kim, I was about to go to bed at 9pm when Jay woke up and started to chat about George Best and what his friends and him had been chatting about today. Thats when he asked me to take him to his house so I got him dressed and thats what we did :) He wanted sweets so seeing as he'd been a good boy today I got him some tictac mints, his favourite... man I love spoiling my kids... and I got myself a few beers as Jay said it was fair cause he was getting sweets, who was I to argue :D I rocked Nikita to sleep again tonight in her pram and I can definitely sp? feel a tooth coming through  whats happening to my baby.... ah its ok I keep forgetting there gonna be another soon :D
