Just wondering.....
Our usual routine throughout the day is sleep, feed, play.
Do you play after your last feed of the day???

Ds will eat his dinner anywhere between 5 and 7 then he has a bath/shower, then has a play, bottle and bed.
its the way that we have always done it and he seems to like it that way..

At this stage (its only week 4)

We feed, then nude bum time on floor then bath, then bottle, then into the pram for a walk and into bed when we get home from the walk. First bottle is at 5pm, then back from walk and in bed by 7pm.
This method was great until last night when she stayed awake from 5pm - 9.30pm we just couldnt settle her, then she woke again at 10.30pm for her feed.

ds1 has a routine of:
dinner at 5:30pm
play till 6pm
shower
then he has a little play (he gets tired after a shower so a play helps him get tired lol)
then at 6:30-7:30pm bedtime (depending how tired the later the bedtime the less effective the shower was lol)
he has a bottle and a few teddies. he reads the teddies a few books before fallling asleep. at the moment the fave books seem to be peter pan and the incredibles lol

Ours is teatime at 5.30/6.00pm followed by bathtime & then storytime & milk at around 7.15/7.30pm. Liv is usually in bed by 8.00pm. We have been reading to her for ages & now she runs into her room, picks the books herself & climbs up into the rocking chair. She drinks her cup of milk & we cuddle together & then we put her into her cot, storytime seems to help her wind down.
