getting less and less

Eliza is currently as I type, having her 5th feed of the day. Most days she has 6-8
i have missed it today I never knew breastfeeding would bring me so much happiness:o:D

Enjoy it :D My boobaloobs were aching tonight as I put DD to bed, I know its in my head and I am really glad that she weaned but it was really a magical thing.

Baden never feeds much when we are out and about. Too much else going on I suppose.

when I got home last night my chest was nearly exploding. He only took one side so I had to express the other, 110mls in five minutes.

But he caught up about two hours later, was a hungry hungry hippo.

I know that feeling well, Nat. When Hamish decided four day feeds were too much and started refusing the boob mid-morning, I was a bit dezastated. I then had to accept that at 9 months, he would probably be fine with only three!:rolleyes: I also realised how much BF was about what I wanted, not necessarily about what Hamish wanted. I had always said he could wean when he was ready-but what I didn't realise I had done was say that with a clause-he being ready meant when I was ready. So when he started refusing day feeds (apart from every couple of days) I got pretty upset. So now I offer him the boob some days if he is tired (he bites when he doesn't want it!) and still feed about 3 times throughout the night. It is all backwards now-night feeds and not days but I feel happy knowing he is still feeding. :) Two nights ago, he had his first ever sleep through-well, 8pm until 4am, feed and back to sleep until 7am-it hasn't happened again but it's a start.

Sal I know what you mean Eliza is similar I think she is also to busy playing during the day to eat!

Shed do you worry if you express and then he gets hungry that you won't have enough milk?

Yes, it did cross my mind, but I just put him on, felt the letdown and he was off and racing.

Liam is a year old soon (waaaaaaaaaaaaah) and is starting to cut his feeds down too. I get very teary thinking about it.

I know the feeling of happiness that breastfeeding can bring. Sometimes if Summer hasn't had my boob in a while & is still refusing it I chase her around the house asking if she wants it yet until she takes it :devil6: :laughing:

I know I really hope to Tandem feed one day, just so I can say "oh I still feed both" lol I am such an attention seeker lol
