thank you - the names are actually Maori..... im half maori/spanish and dh is full blood maori.
Thanks for checking out our website ;)
Im seriously thinking about ordering one - especially living in brisbane - i think it would be marvelous to have one. And since someof the rooms in my house seem to be hotter than others - i think it will be a good investment

I got the same catologue today in the mail. I have already put my order in for one of the summer grobags, they are all just gorgeous prints. Not sure about the egg thing though

it concerns me a bit that they note that 24 degrees is too hot for the nursery???

I have no air con - live in brissie... and I am telling you now.. that bubs nursery is GOING to be hotter than that!!!! - I am smart enough not to over dress bubs in summer weather... but surely there is little else to do???!!

The egg does sound funky but if you want just a simple indicator of temperature, all Grobags come with a little paper wall thermometer. It's not the greatest but is fine to give me a general indication.

Veve, I think the 24C recommendation is for babies dressed in a Summer weight Grobag. When I visit my parent's in Brissie, I don't bother with any sleeping bags or blankets during summer.

My baby monitor displays the temp which I find pretty convenient (note to all mums-to-be!), but I love the idea of the soft night light - it looks like something I saw recently at Ikea.

I Was hoping that was the case - although I cant really imagine qlders using summer weight gro-bags at all!!! ... we probably need them in winter!!!

I'm still learning about grobags... I won one earlier this year... but ordered the heavier fabric in a larger size for bubs to use next winter...

Well i live in brissie - and yeh i agree it rarely below 24 in summer - but i just wanted to have some sort of indication - like trying to keep the room at approx 24 degrees (KWIM?) I find that some rooms in my house dont have a circulating air flow so it would be good to find the cooler rooms etc..
But id just never seen one before so i thought id ask you guys.
I mite end up buying one anyway
