Hi,
I'm doing a story on new figures from Relationships Australia about the pressures on families. I was wondering if any Queensland families were feeling pressured by the new federal workplace laws and wouldn't mind PM me with some of those concerns or experiences for inclusion in the article. Also the survey has found that lack of understanding of each other's views, housework, lack of communication, different goals and financial difficulties were also causing relationship problems, So if you would rather talk about that please do
Cheers,

I haven't had any specific run-ins with the new laws yet, but I hate the feeling of them looming over us like a dark cloud all the same. With a young family, a tiny budget that I have to continually stretch and stretch and morgage repayments to make, knowing that my DH can now be laid off simply because his boss wants to let him go is frightening. Even if I were to go back to work full time, my wage didn't even cover the home loan. I don't even want to think about what would happen if DH lost his job or was forced to sign an AWA that reduced his pay or benefits.

It's just one more thing to worry about
