View Full Version : Which pram for twins and a toddler???
Hi guys,
I was just wondering if any of you lovely ladies could point me in the right direction of prams you recommend to accomodate my little darling twins due in June next year and my little man Ewan who will be 18 months old.
I have only seen 1 at babies galore and the women told me it was the ONLY ONE on the market which i know is not true. It was a Valco twin with a toddler seat.
I went online and found the Adveture buggy company twin buggy which has a toddler seat on top like a shopping trolley which imlike the idea of.
Are there anymore i could check out?

I've got the adventure buggy twin and its brilliant. I dont have the toddler seat yet (getting it christmas eve - very excited lol) but it really is brilliant. It folds quite long but slim, is easy to push even with 4+5 yr olds in it, I've used it from newborn with my youngest.. basically every combination of a 5 mnth / 17mnth / 4 and 5 yr olds and never had any problems
I used to own a valco twin with toddler seat but its only weight rated up to 50kg and the front wheel started to buckle with our then 4 yr old in it. Also don't like the todd seat being at front, was just annoying getting the older ones in and out of the pram behind the seat!
Any questions on either of those feel free to ask. The only other one I can think of that takes a toddler seat is the fitneswise I think thats what its called, its made by the same people as the Adventure buggy and the toddler seat looks like a bike seat.

we also have the Adventure twin with the toddler seat...although our #2 & #3 aren't here yet we've taken it for a few test runs with DS up top and in one of the seats accompanied by our little twin dolls!!! We got a few wierd looks but we are really happy with the way it handles, the ease of getting through doors, and the way the weather protectors fit on.
I ordered ours online and had a few parts slightly damaged when it arrived ( thanks to the postie) but Phil was fantastic at sending out the replacment parts ASAP. If you email him he'll send you some photos and feedback.
Good luck with your twins... our DS is 18months now and i'm 36weeks-slowly running out of room with these bubbas!!

I have the Valco - it is an amazingly sturdy and well built jogger. It appealed to me as it has four wheels which makes it much more stable - the girls can climb all over it without it tipping. It has been brilliant.
